OUPC was invited to the B.A.R winter meeting at Bisley Shooting Ground. It was an exciting weekend with pistols and rifles, great food and pints, rain and rainbow!

I am writing with the good news that, after a long wait, our regular range at the Cricket Centre in Iffley sports centre is now open. OUPC will be re-active in regular air pistol shooting from next week.

Dear all returning and potential shooters,

Thank you for your interest and enthusiasm towards OUPC. Unfortunately, our regular range in Iffley Sports Centre will be closed for maintenance until mid November. Our negotiation with SportsFed has turned out to be unsuccessful to get a temporary venue for this unexpected delay in the construction project. I have received vast amounts of inquires about our taster sessions, but don’t worry, tasters will be held once we get our place back. Meanwhile, we will be holding shooting related socials so hope to see many of you there!!

Further updates will be sent via email (pm me if you have not signed up). We will try to provide you with the best experience we can make under this difficult time.

OUPC was again invited to the B.A.R summer meeting in Switzerland. It was a fabulous week for shooting as well as meeting other excellent shooters, and of course for enjoying the spectacular view around Thunersee.

Varsity results are in! Cambridge won the Team A Varsity, but Oxford won the Team B and Ladies competitions. Looking forward to the full-bore Varsity in July!

*Taster session today POSTPONED*

Due to some issues surrounding the range, we unfortunately have to postpone the taster session that was planned for this evening. It will now take place on Thursday of week 5 (10th November), at the usual time (6-8pm). If you have booked onto the session for this evening, please come along at that alternative time instead.

If you have booked onto the session next week, we are hoping this will go ahead as normal.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience, and please get in touch if there are any major problems with this. We hope to get sessions back up and running as soon as we can.

We sadly had to leave all the trophies in Cambridge this time, but we'll be coming back for them next year 🔫

Happy start of Michaelmas Term 2021!

Taster sessions this term are Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Iffley Sports Centre. Each session costs £2 per person.

Today, our amazing Ladies Captain Mary Lucia Darst led the last training session before lockdown! 🔫 🔫

Unfortunately, all training sessions for the rest of the month have been cancelled, but we'll let you know as soon as we start training again. Stay safe!
