Somerville Principal and Labour peer Baroness Janet Royall has announced her bid for Oxford Chancellorship.

In a statement on X, Royall expressed her aim to ‘be a voice for Oxford, for all.’

Baroness Royall joins the likes of Lord William Hague, Peter Mandelson, Elish Angiolini and Imran Khan in the race to be Oxford’s next Chancellor.
