Meet Hans, the handlebar cafe mascot! He will be hidden around the cafe every morning for you to find…. The first person who spots him will get a free breakfast! Where will he be hidden today?….

A few evening tapas dishes for the vegans:
- Harissa hummus, beetroot falafels, vg tzatziki
- Smoked maple tofu, Thai peanut sauce
- Patatas bravas, smokey salsa, vg aioli, toasted almonds

As the end of the week approaches and we reopen for evenings on Friday and Saturday, discover 2 of our new dishes.
We use carefully selected meats from local butchers:
- Bavette steak toastada, chipotle crema, chimichurri feta
- Lamb albondigas, mint gremolata, feta

Night 2. The orders are flying out and look utterly gorgeous! Lovely light and tasty nibbles to accompany your cocktails? YUM!

And so it begins!
First evening dish on the pass, pan fried sardines and caponata.

It’s colourful, full of warm spices and fresh ingredients.

Back at my favourite table, eating my favourite food (a very small green shakshuka today). Sooooo good to have an uninterrupted day, blissfully relaxed customers and staff.

Power outage extended by 4 hours! No one knows if we will be able to open tomorrow. But keep an eye out as if we can…WE NEED ALL OF YOU TO COME IN!!!

And here is our 6th power outage in 3 weeks. That’s a whole week of closure with no explanation, no apologies, no trading, reimbursing customers, apologising, throwing food away.
This is getting unsustainable .

CLOSED AGAIN. This is how a small business drowns 😢.

Thank you for your continued understanding and support. Apologies for all those who had to cut their lunches short and leave still hungry. 😔

What we do in the shadows!
Spending the night with the always enthusiastic giving our beloved HB a much needed lick of paint. Work in progress. Second coat tomorrow night, don’t judge us in the morning 😂 And yes, we did move the wooden cabinet and painted behind it!
