It's that time of the year again when we take stock of the year gone past and spend quality time with our love ones over the season's holidays. 🎁

Walk-in weekends are suspended from 17th December to 7th January, restarting again on Saturday 14th January 2023.

ArtStudio.Life is officially close from 24th to 26th & 31st December to 1st January 2023.

Artists availability although limited from 17th December 2022 to 4th January 2023, we do however, have a couple of industrious artists who are working through the season.

ARTSTUDIO.LIFE IS LOOKING FOR FULL & PART TIME ARTISTS.

We are an art focused, customer-centric, relaxed, friendly and positive studio located just a quick 5 minutes walk from Oxford City Centre.
Our ideal candidate has background in Arts or Design, a passion for custom work and is committed to our friendly and inclusive approach.
The position is offered on a self employed basis and salary is negotiable, great opportunity for the right person to build a strong client base in our established Studio.
All style considered, 3 years shop experience is preferred but not necessarily essential.

All applicants must be experienced and have a strong portfolio.
Verbal and written English skills required.

Responsibilities:
Applying tattoos to customers.
Informing clients about the process of getting a tattoo.
Giving advice on aftercare.
Building relationships with returning clients.
Using all necessary equipment in the shop, including sterilizers and other machinery.
Scheduling appointments and following up with clients as necessary.

What you’ll be:
Enthusiastic and hard working
A collaborative team player
Exceptionally organised, possessing a key attention to detail
Commercially aware and able to contribute ideas to enhance the business
Fluent in spoken and written English
Responsible and punctual
Flexible and adaptable to the evolving needs of the industry, able to work weekends
Caring and supportive

Requirements
3 years studio experience
Excellent people skills
A resourceful attitude, but able to ask for support when needed
Excellent communication skills
A sense of self-motivation and an innate drive to be the best version of yourself

We will not be able to sponsor any artists who are not UK residents for a visa.

It’s common for people to get tattoos to symbolise an event in their life or to celebrate and remember a moment.

This tattoo was no different for my client who was a part-time PHD student who trusted me to bring his design to life.

It took him 7 years to complete his PHD and is now a University professor in the Netherlands teaching Gamame Building.

To mark such a momentous event in his life, this was the creation.
