Huge congratulations to Ava, who achieved an incredible set of GCSE results with 9s and 8s throughout! She’s thrilled with her success and excited to join our Sixth Form in September. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things she'll accomplish next! 👏

We are absolutely thrilled to share the amazing achievements of our students in this year’s exams. Their dedication, hard work, and determination have truly paid off, and we couldn't be prouder of what they've accomplished. Here are some key highlights from our results:

• 47% of all grades were 9-7
• Nearly a third of d'Overbroeck’s entries achieved 9-8 grades
• 98% overall pass rate
• Over 80% of students earned 9-6 grades in Maths
• More than three-quarters of students achieved 9-6 grades in English Language
• 100% of our international students earned 9-8 grades in Fine Art

These results are not just numbers; they represent the countless hours of study, the persistence in overcoming challenges, and the unwavering commitment to achieving their best. Each student has contributed to making this year a truly remarkable one, and we are excited to see what they will accomplish next. We are delighted to celebrate another year of great A Level results at d’Overbroeck’s! For over 20 years, our students have consistently achieved remarkable success, and this year is no exception. 82% of our Year 13 students have attained a pass rate of A*, A, or B.

We couldn’t be prouder of the exceptional resilience, hard work, and determination our students have shown in reaching their goals. This achievement is also a testament to the dedication and inspiration of our teachers, who have been instrumental in guiding our students to success.

The Architecture & Design A level course offers students the opportunity to explore spatial elements, the built environment and the world around them through a cross-disciplinary approach.
Spanning both architectural and artistic practices, the course is aimed at students interested in the fields of architecture, three-dimensional design, set-design, and those drawn to architecture-inspired art forms. The course will provide them with an inquisitive, collaborative space, where aesthetics are placed alongside social, political and environmental enquiry, celebrating our school’s geographical and cultural diversity.

Launched at 11am today, we're in the dark greens, next to iconic Oxford landmarks such as the Bodleian Library and Ashmolean Museum.

Take the top hat or the dog for a trip down Cowley Road, grab a G&D's ice cream, and then pick up a board game from Blackwell's book shop. 🎩🐕

Mr Monopoly visited us here for a few rolls of the dice with our students. He seemed to know the best strategies for winning, but hopefully our Board Game Club took a few hints away with them!

Our 7-11 Head Teacher Nick had a lovely time hosting our Year 8&9 student ambassadors in his office for some Cake 🍰 and Lego 🧱 during lunchtime! It was great catching up with them and seeing their awesome builds.

Nick will be extending the invitation to all students who have made special contributions to the school community. 🏫 Whether they helped out on Open Morning or have gone above and beyond in other ways, they're invited to join in for a bit of cake-eating and Lego-building fun during Friday lunchtimes.
It might take a few weeks to get through everyone, but we're excited to celebrate together!
