We are very proud of Jackson Spry who has been representing Great Britain this week at Kaula Lumpar Age Group World's. Playing for Team GB - Underwater Hockey in the under 24 Mens' team, he's scored 5 goals so far (and only been sent out twice!)
He is currently the president of our club and has been captain for the past 3 years leading us to success in loads of tournaments.
They finished their round robin yesterday and start play offs with a rematch (winning 4:2 yesterday) against South Africa at 09:00 today

Well done to everyone who came to cuppers this weekend, we loved hosting you and hope you had fun!
Congratulations to Teddy Hall for their victory, and thank you to the other players - OUYC, Hertford/Corpus, Catz/Trinity, Balliol, and the Blues swimmer dotted across the teams - for giving us some great games.
And finally of course a huge thank you to club members for helping out with organisation, referee, and teaching everyone new to the sport, especially non-uni members who came along just to make sure everything ran smoothly. The day couldn't have gone this well without you guys!
It's cuppers season! If you've always considered trying out the sport, or just fancy doing something unusal with a group of friends, now's your chance!
Sign up as teams of 6-10 or as smaller groups to be paired with other small groups on the day to form a team.
Clickable form link is on our facebook events page🐙🤍
Big Important Committee Meeting™️ where Big Important Decision Making™️ took place…
Whether you simply walked by mouthing “underwater hockey??” in bewilderment to yourself as you walked by, or if you stopped for a chat and to put your name down to try something new with us, it was lovely seeing you all at freshers fair!
It’s time to meet our committee for the upcoming academic year! Make sure you swing by our stall at freshers fair this Thursday and Friday (6th and 7th October) 9am-5pm to meet us, and come to one (or more!) of our four taster sessions on Wednesdays 5th, 12th, 19th October 20:50-22:20 and Saturday 8th October 17:50-19:20 to find out if Octopush is the sport for you (spoiler alert: it is)
Many congratulations for all who found out they are today, we are so very proud!
We hope to see many of you at Freshers Fair this October, and are very excited to see you discover or continue the joys of underwater hockey with the Oxford Team🐙💙
Post-cuppers bonding hours, gotta eat back all those calories we burnt off😛
It’s been a successful afternoon of Cuppers tournament! 8 teams came together to play some riveting games. Big congrats to everyone who played, especially those trying it out for the first time, and of course to the Brasenose college college team for their impressive victory with only 4 members! Many thanks to members of the club who helped organise, teach, and referee to make this day go as smoothly as it did.🐙💙
🌟SOCIAL🌟
On Saturday of 5th week, the 28th of May, there will be a joint social with the lifesaving club. There will be a session swap in which we could try lifesaving and first aid and then some of the lifesaving club will join our session after having food somewhere nearby.
Please react to this message if you intend on coming so that I can get an estimate of numbers to the lifesaving club by Wednesday.
