For our third and final trend roundup, we've created this abstract wall mural and paired it with some of our favourite minimal pieces, to create possibly the most elegant living room we've ever done. We, like, really love it 🥰

Interiors Trends for 2023: COLOUR PAIRING 🎨
For our second favourite trend this year, we're mixing it up - our colour palettes, that is. Who says a wall has to be all one colour? Or your dining chairs have to match? Bold use of colour is a clever (and affordable) way to elevate a space and make the elements feel more considered.

Here, our focal point is our feature wall - no artistic skills required, just some tape and patience! The look is mirrored in the geometric artwork, modern rug, and contrasting dining chairs, and accessories bring the colours together. Straight lines are gently broken with a well-placed floor lamp, and the curves of the dining table and sideboard.

All in all - modern, bright, and a lot of fun!

Interiors Trends for 2023: BIOPHILIC 🌿
Let's not pretend winter isn't at least a bit... miserable. Once you've got Christmas out the way, you've still got to get through 2 solid months of cold, rain, and darkness. This, though, we think, is the season for the Biophilic trend to really shine - when everything outside is dead and covered in mud, turning your home into a cosy jungle grants you a reprieve you'll really appreciate.

For our interpretation of this trend, we've chosen natural curved shapes, soft neutrals, multiple fabric textures, and wooden furniture - along with lots of plants, obviously. Mixed with black metal details, the structured lines of the headboard, and our organic wall cubbies, this look leans modern and contemporary.

Can't keep plants alive? Dried and fake can still create the biophilic look 😜

Our guest room at dwell's Place isn't the biggest, but we managed to squeeze in a double bed 😉 It's closer to the door than is ideal, but with some cleverly placed artwork, a clever built-in desk, and a darling shade of pink, we've managed to create a cosy hideaway that's perfect for a good night's rest. And yes - the ceiling light is dwell, too!

Nothing more elegant than a black, white a gold bedroom 😍 Of which, the Nepola Ottoman Bed makes the perfect centrepiece!

Choosing the right lighting for your space makes a difference - creating the right style and mood is often down to how you light a space.
