Over the Weekend, we celebrated 8 Years of Award.

What a journey it has been and we are only in our infancy. We are now a Team of 16 diverse strong Team members. We are currently recruiting for an additional 3 people to join us!

We opened our second location this Year in Cardiff which has expanded at a phenomenal rate. This is testament to the Teams effort and our core vales as a business.

This sports stadium has been having major issues with wastage on their Ciders and Beers, due to the current cellar not being Insulated and unable to maintain any sort of temperature.

We will be installing a complete new suspended floor, bespoke Insulated cold room and replacement beer cellar system.

One compressor down already and another goes down at 9pm. No problem for the Team! With all hands on deck for a double compressor replacement allowing business to carry on with no interruption 🙌🏻

Training is a key focus for us as a business. As many predict Co2 will become a more widely used refrigerant, we are sending all of our teams on training courses so we will be in good sted to support our existing and new clients. Well done to Rhys on successfully completing this course with 100%!

National Apprenticeship week.

Meet Luke and Elis our current Apprentices at Award Refrigeration & Air Conditioning ltd.

Luke is nearing the end of his college course with ChanniCool Training Services Limited and will continue his learning with our senior engineers and technical managers. Luke came to Award from a military background and got to work straight away with the precision and desire to better himself and learn. He has and is continuing to develop into a first-class engineer and will soon be undergoing qualifications in Co2.

Elis is our first apprentice based in Wales under the supervision of our Operations Manager Joseph Page. Elis will be undertaking his apprenticeship at Bath College. Elis, for a 17 year old, is wiser than his Years and truly a joy to work with.

I once was an Apprentice and feel a real need to support, mentor and encourage more talent to our industry. As a company we will always find space for talented individuals to join and learn.

We have just opened up a new position for a Trainee Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to come and join our ever growing team, working out of our Paignton office.
