Dear readers,
Please let me introduce myself.
My name is Kira Balogh (KB), currently a y12 student at Nene Park Academy and I’m working as one of your media interns within the organisation.
It has been five months now since my internship had begun and I can’t wait for the remaining fun interactions that we will have in the future through posts!
Hopefully I’m able to raise your attentions to not only our significant events, campaigns, and campaign groups but also to important news and stories that is worthy to be published and to stimulate your curiosity and engagement with us.
Therefore, I decided to share my experience from our Media Training event that took place last Thursday about effective storytelling & social media tips. The session was instructed by our senior: Aanisha Khan who was extremely wonderful, guiding us all the way through her presentation and telling us about her experiences whilst allowing us to learn great tips to develop our methods of reaching out to you as the public.
The quote above written by Arianna Huffington, perfectly encapsulates what I have felt throughout the training, and it could also act as a great advice to people who are interested in the field of media and press.
Furthermore, I would like to say thank you for not only our seniors who trained us but also to our dear readers who interact with us and assures our intern team that we are doing our jobs right. We may not be perfect since we still have a journey to go through, but hopefully it is enough for us to stimulate your curiosity and attention to our works in the future.
*One Day Only*
If you have experienced feeling unsafe in Peterborough, then join our research action event on the 6th of July and share it with us so that we can make an even greater change.

Tuesday leaders from our A&E mental health campaign held their closing dinner. Despite not achieving the win we had hoped for, the campaign team put in a huge amount of work.
“Choose always the way that seems the best, however rough it may be.”
― Pythagoras
The first half of Pythagoras’s quote presented above, perfectly encapsulates the hard work that the team has put into their campaign. Their result justifies the reality of the road to success, that it can be rough, but even the slightest change can influence a lot and propose positive outcomes in one way or another.
Tuesday, a delegation from Peterborough Citizens joined around 400 leaders from all over the UK for a national delegates assembly to hear the testimonies & votes on priority campaigns as part of our General Election strategy.
