It seems to be a week for cloakrooms! We are currently undertaking three gorgeous cloakrooms and this is one that we completed yesterday. I just love it ❤️
Fully tiling a room can give such a feeling of space, coupled with beautiful Karndean oak effect flooring...what is not to love.

These very wonderful customers had a large bathroom but the space just felt like it was cramped. The bath was fitted right up to the door and the basin unit was tucked behind a partitioning wall. This only gave space for a small corner shower.

We take a lot of time discussing all options with our customers to ensure that they are getting exactly what they want. We looked at moving the bath away from the corner and putting a slightly larger shower in but the overriding wish was for the bathroom to be more accessible and have more space. We then looked at removing the bath altogether and putting in a large walk in shower complete with alcoves at both ends. I think this works so so well.
We know that sometimes it is difficult to visualise how a room will look once it is finished, especially throughout our initial prep.

We guide our customers every step of the way and our amazing Owen and Eddie Sakovich take the time to advise and answer any questions throughout the installation. They always keep any disruption and mess to an absolute minimum, you can see from the photos how tidy they work.

The final photos are of the finished room once it had been decorated and accessorised. What a beautiful space ❤️❤️

VACANCY FOR A SEMI-SKILLED KITCHEN AND BATHROOM FITTER

Devonports Kitchens and Bathrooms have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard working individual to join their established fitting teams.

You will be working directly with one of our highly experienced lead fitters and so ideally you will already possess some experience in the installation of kitchens and bathrooms, however, further training will be given to ensure our high standards are consistently met in all areas.

Your usual hours of work will be Monday – Friday 8:15am – 4:45pm, a flexible approach to overtime is required. Salary will be dependent on experience.

Who doesn't love a nice soak in the bath??? 🛀 I absolutely love this room.
Our customer really wanted a wetroom but also wanted to have a freestanding bath. The existing shower room has been completely transformed to accommodate both and their choice of tiles makes the room feel so luxurious. ❤️❤️

SHOWROOM ASSISTANT REQUIRED

Devonports Kitchens and Bathrooms have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, customer focused person to join our showroom team. Excellent customer service is at the heart of everything that we do.

Duties include:

• Managing the showroom and working alongside all our team members
• Be the first point of contact with our customers, coming to the showroom and by phone
• Meeting our customers, showing them our products and services on offer e.g., kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, worktops, handles, etc
• Arranging and booking appointments to carry out home and showroom visits
• Taking and making phone calls on an everyday basis from potential and existing customers
• Managing the presentation and maintenance of the showroom
• Receiving and arranging multiple deliveries and checking all items
• Ensuring the showroom is clean and tidy at all times as well as the back office
• Office work which include placing orders, quotations, taking phone calls and responding to emails
• Carrying out general admin duties such as providing quotations and other admin work as required


Start date required November 2023. Your will be required to work 30 hours per week; Tuesday – Friday 9:30am – 5.00pm with the occasional appointment on a Saturday.
