Today is the National Work Day, thousands of young people aged between 11 and 15 from schools across the UK are spending this special day at the workplaces of their parents, carers, relatives or friends.
This ‘Take our Children to Work Day’ is a perfect opportunity for young people to learn about the range of careers available and to see something of working life.

We had been delighted to welcome Charlotte’s son Joshua into our Electrical Operations Team at this special Day. He had spent some time observing how we operate and carry out our duties ☺️.

Approaching the National Apprenticeship Week we attended Peterborough Regional College’s Apprenticeship Fair. We spent some enjoyable time talking with many students who wanted to know more about the company and roles available for them now or in the nearest future.

Yesterday MCS was wearing Christmas Jumpers and raising funds towards Save the Children Charity.

We have seen so many amazing, festive jumpers not only in our office but on the field too - one of MCS engineers, Russell, has sent a photo from the job and he is wearing a Jumper for this great cause as well! 🎄🎅🎁

Matt who is our Health & Safety Business Partner did a Santa Fun Run in Stamford this weekend - How cool is that! :)

This year the designated charities were Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice, Stamford MindSpace and The Rotary Club of Stamford Burghley (they then distribute further to local good causes).

Such a great cause! Well done Matt :)
