A media wall just completed for an old school mate in Bourne, Lincolnshire. All the carcasses, Oak frames & doors were constructed in the workshop along with the grooving of the MDF panelling and then the last 2 days have been spent fitting it all in the lounge. MDF to be painted and the Oak treated with an oil, can’t wait to see the final result.

Just fitted 14 pre finished oak veneer doors for a client where we fitted a new kitchen just over a year ago, here is one we had to shorten for an understairs cupboard. Done a few of these now where some people just cut them to height and leave the vertical panels running to the floor but we like to match the rest of the doors and cut out and refit the bottom rail in. It’s worth the extra work to do the job properly.

This was a particularly nice job as it was the first time of doing it this way, the newel posts weren’t able to be replaced so with them being 70mm square we clad them in solid Oak. We machined up 10mm thick pieces of Oak and mitred them on the lengths so that brought the newel posts up to a standard 90mm. The Stair strings have been clad in oak veneer plywood with solid cappings. Looking forward to seeing it once the customer has decorated and had new carpet fitted.

A lovely kitchen renovation project that we’ve just finished in Glapthorn, Northamptonshire. It’s a Howdens Reed Green in frame kitchen. A job we’ve been on for the last couple of days in Eye, Peterborough. Old worktops, upstands and tiles taken off and replaced with new worktops and backing boards to match. This is a good option to give a kitchen a new look when the cabinets and doors are still fine.

A client recently had a new bathroom fitted which left an alcove that was a wasted space, with storage at a premium we were asked to construct a bespoke unit with adjustable shelving. Really pleased how this turned out, the push to open doors give it a nice sleek finish.

Stair refurb job we’ve been working on in Oundle for the last couple of days. All the old 70’s ranch style bannisters & newel posts taken out and replaced with oak newel posts, bannisters and spindles.

A kitchen fit we’ve just finished in Crowland, it’s a Howdens, Bridgemere Porcelain range. The new flooring is a vinyl tile click together. It’s definitely made the space feel bigger and brighter after taking out a dark colour kitchen.

Bathroom refurb we’ve done this week in Ely, bath out, new base and shower tray fitted. Panelling fitted all around, now ready for flooring and new toilet and basin to go in.

A kitchen fit we’ve just finished in Peterborough, it’s a Howdens Chelford range in Dusk Blue. A quirky feature with this is that the corner walk in larder unit is actually the entrance to the Utility room. All ready now for the templaters so more pictures to follow once the worktops and flooring are fitted.

Built in Wardrobe just finished at Polebrook in a bedroom alcove. Interior constructed with White MFC and outer framework with Dove Grey panels and Sliding doors.

Just been back to fit the utility room on the barn conversion where we did the kitchen back in July.

Really enjoyed doing this job, all old stair parts taken out including newel posts and replaced with Oak. Gives a more modern look now.

Just finished this Sage Green Howdens kitchen fit in Bourne, customer decorated alongside us fitting. Just the new flooring to go down to complete the project. Thanks to Michael Wilkinson plastering for a great job on the walls and ceiling prior to us fitting.

A kitchen we’ve just finished locally in a barn conversion, we also did the Oak flooring and skirting boards which was nice to complete this amazing space.

It’s been a pleasure to fit this kitchen for a couple that have just bought their first house, flooring going down in the next couple of days then we’re going back next week to tile the walls.
Update: just finished the tiling so there’s just the decorating to do and the kitchen will be complete.

Another kitchen we’ve just finished in Sawtry, this job came on the back of a recommendation from a couple that live just around the corner, we fitted their new kitchen at the start of the year. Flooring and window board fitted as well.

Another kitchen that we’ve just finished in Oundle for a lovely couple, really enjoyed this fit as it was a big transformation with an extension that virtually doubled the size of the original one. This was a Howdens Fairford Pebble kitchen with Speckled Stone worktops, we finished it off with Pearl Grey Herringbone Rigid Vinyl floor planks.

A job that we’ve just finished where not only was the old door and frame not meeting fire regulations but also wasn’t secure, new frame fitted with fire and smoke intumescent strip and a half hour fire door with 5 lever mortice lock.

Just finished this kitchen fit from DIY kitchens in Yorkshire, it’s now ready for tiling and decoration. We’re still working at the house as it’s having a complete refurbishment before the customer moves in.

First job of the year finished, started just before Xmas and carried on over the festive period. It’s a Howdens Chelford Marine Blue range with Bamboo worktops. Walls have been knocked down and an extension built to give the customers an amazing kitchen space with dining area. Just flooring to do now to complete the project.

Just finished this project, customer needed a new boiler and it had to be fitted in a different part of the room, so they asked if we could enclose it and also build a shallower storage cupboard next to it. All ready now for decoration.

Another kitchen this week, this time a Howdens Fairford Sage Green. Old tiles left on so that the customer can decide what they want to do, so just tiling and decorating left to complete the project.

Just finished this Howdens Matt Navy kitchen with Grey Marble worktops and Block Hex Midnight backboards. Both kitchen and Utility room have under mount sinks with drainer grooves. Many thanks to SB plumbing & heating for their help and great workmanship. Just electrical faceplates to change and decorating to do by customers own tradesmen.

Just finished this deck today, now to get the artificial grass and the garden will be finished.
