It's Valentine's Day, and that means brands are out in full-force pushing the message of love on anyone who will listen! 😂
In the spirit of the day, we wanted to share a Valentine's campaign we loved - from 2021...
It was a campaign by Bloom & Wild, in which they stopped selling roses - the "cliché" of Valentine's gifts. 🚫🌹
The reason this caught our eye was because they created this campaign off the back of consumer data. It turned out that 79% of people would prefer to receive a thoughtful gift, instead of traditional roses.
👉 They LISTENED to their customers - something brands often forget to do!
As a result, this campaign not only boosted sales, but secured more press coverage than any of their competitors and generated conversation across social networks - we even talked about it at work ourselves! 😅

Candice is based in South Africa, along with Brad and Rudi, and is excited to be kicking off 2023 with the MM team!
We asked a few questions to help get to know her, so we'll let her take it from here! 👇
✨What do you love most about working in marketing?
I love that each client is different to the next. The industry is always changing, new trends are always emerging and there is always opportunity to try something new for a client. Consistency pays off in marketing so it's always a reward when the results reflect your hard work!
✨What do you like about working remotely?
I'm a homebody, so I love that I can be in my own space all the time! I also love the extra time it gives me with my family to do stuff we love.
✨How does it feel to be working with the MM team?
I'm very excited to work with such a dynamic and knowledgeable team! Everyone has been so welcoming and I look forward to building some lasting relationships.
✨What are you most looking forward to in 2023?
My wedding! - Eeek! 😁
But also having the opportunity to grow my skills and work on some new clients with MM.
✨What do you like to do outside of work?
Going on hikes and visiting local markets on weekends. I also spend a lot of my time on leathercraft, making custom bags.
✨What TV show are you watching right now?
The big bang theory for the 100th time! Something about Sheldon's craziness is strangely comforting and calms my own anxiety.

Being a fully remote business has allowed us to build an incredible relationship with them both, and although they're almost 8,500 miles away, you would never know!

This is great for those trying to build their personal brand while on the go, and also helps to work around issues formats limited by the LinkedIn API in other scheduling tools, such as PDF and tagging.
