Thanks to everyone that came down to get involved on our first Sunday back open, those sleepy Sunday mornings meant we were pretty quiet until 10.30 ish so we have tweaked the opening hours to 10-2, Brunch only and all done by 2.

We’re on the hunt for some extra hands on deck!
Part time front of house hours, mostly weekdays based in Black Cat with extra available across our other sites through the weeks, front of house position with training provided, but some extra kitchen experience sure goes a long way.
There’s opportunity as well to take on a supervisory role with further training provided for that.

You may have already seen on Instagram but after a run of fairly quiet Sundays we've decided it's no longer workable for us to open on Sundays. Increases to staff costs mean that we have to really come out firing on each and every day and yesterday was absolutey dead on the Broadway - as it has been on Sundays for the past few months. With sunnier days on the horizon we're even less likely to be busy. The good news is that we're still open Monday - Saturday so we'll be focussing all our energies there and hopefully catching a wave on Sundays.

Our old boombox was a bit much so we’ve gone a bit High Fidelity with these lovely 60s Radford speakers picked up from a local enthusiast. Sounds great even with Coldplay on (obviously that isn’t true).
