God isn’t at work producing the circumstances you want. God is at work in bad circumstances producing the you He wants.
Low self esteem causes you to believe I have so little worth that your response does not matter. However, you should understand that you are worth so much to God, that’s why your response is so important and matters.
The grace of God is not against effort, it’s rather against earning because earning is attitude and effort is action.
We must get rid of the attitude of earning our worth when we come to God and rather put effort into striving for holiness.
‘Insight does not equal change’, knowing the truth is not sufficient, we must not only know it, we must apply it to our lives if we want healing, if we want to get well.
The good man or woman’s path is smooth, not because of its own nature, but because God makes it so. Trust that when the journey is over the road will be explained.
‘Therefore with joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation.’
‘There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God.’
