This bicycle from the 1800s certainly wasnโt a smooth ride. Luckily for our applicants, we do everything we can to make cycling as comfortable and accessible as possible. Whether that be a different seat, adjusting handle height or carefully selecting a style of bicycle to suit their needs.
Could you help us get more bicycles to those who need them? Head to our website to find out how you can donate, fundraise or recycle your cycling equipment with us! Thank you!
A massive thank you to Bath Rugby for sending us this signed team shirt ahead of Plympton Victoria RFC Rugby Pilgrimage Fundraiser!
We have been contacting the professional rugby clubs the team will be visiting, just to let them know what we are doing and the offers of support by them have been unbelievable.

You all know our founderโs love of cycling however, you may be unaware he also plays rugby for his local club Plympton Victoria RFC.
Adam's big fundraiser for this year is another huge ride. With the help of his rugby club, they will be starting at their home ground in Plymouth and riding north stopping at every Premiership Rugby Club (and one National 1 club) on their way to Newcastle Falcons.
A massive thanks to the clubs who have agreed to welcome them in to their stadium and we can't wait to share updates of the teams training and the main ride with you all.

Another MTB rolling out of the workshop this week and another build from the Tredz treasure boxes ๐
We love gifting bikes to people that make them feel excited to ride. Bikes that people canโt stop thinking about. Bikes that when they see them, they just want to put on a helmet and get outside.

Someone very kindly dropped this frame off to our Certini Bicycle Co. Saltash drop off point. The suspension linkage was cracked and rear shock had seen many many miles of use.
The linkage which needed replacing is no longer available and after many hours searching the internet this made the bike destined for the recycling centre. Luckily my last point of contact was Chris from Silverfish UK. He waved his magic wand and pulled one from their warehouse of random parts ๐ The build could begin.
Major overhaul of the rear shock, donated Chris King Precision Components headset pressed in, set of forks from Tredz donations the other week, serviced and fitted a donated RockShox reverb dropper post. Finished off with a SRAM MTB NX 1x12 groupset and 4 pot GUIDE brakes to make sure it stops as well as it goes ๐
I hope this brings as much of a smile to someone affected by cancer as it did to mine when I was building it ๐ต๐ปโโ๏ธ
Thanks to everyone who helped with this build ๐
Someone kindly donated a few MTBโs and frames to us this morning.
This The Kona Bicycle Co. was one of those frames which Adam has built up using parts from the recent Tredz collection ๐
This is going to be a great ride for someone ๐ด๐ปโโ๏ธ
Once again the amazing team at Tredz have filled our van full of goodies!
These are already back at the HQ and being put to good use ready to support more people affected by cancer throughout the UK.

Hope all of our followers, supporters and applicants had a great Christmas and New Year.
We had a little helper for our first deliveries of 2023!
Hereโs to delivering more bikes and supporting more people than ever before ๐๐ด๐ปโโ๏ธ

Get in touch if you could hold a donation drive at your place of work or cycle club ๐๐ด๐ปโโ๏ธ
Sorry we have been quiet the last few weeks. Itโs been crazy to say the least!
โข One breakdown in the van.
โข Two hospital visits for me (all ok now ๐). Itโs crazy to think you can be racing a hill climb on a Sunday and rushed to A&E on the Monday.
โข Lots of bikes refurbished and delivered.
I am planning what will be our last group ride for those affected by cancer for this year. It will be a fun and easy 6 miles with a great coffee/cake stop. Please drop us a message if youโre interested in joining us ๐ It will start from Station Road Car Park in Bovey Tracey. All abilities welcome ๐๐ด๐ปโโ๏ธ
We are in need of more parts and clothing donations. If you have any items you would like to gift us I can send you a free of charge postage label ๐ฆ
Thank you all for the continued support!
Adam
Massive thanks to The Lycra Lads for cycling from Porthcawl to Paris for us! 500 miles in 5 days ๐ฎ
Rain, wind and many punctures but they stuck together and got through it. Iโm so pleased I was able to join them and offer any support they needed along the way.
So far they have raised a whopping ยฃ4,494 which is already being used to help people affected by cancer through the wonder of cycling.
Thank you so much for supporting us, you will always be part of The Bike Network family ๐๐ด๐ปโโ๏ธ
