Sebastian Edmonds has helped 2 clients to arrange their home insurance for the first time. They are in the process of buying their first home and had no idea where to start. They looked through all the options together and agreed a good policy which correctly covers everything they need while keeping the cost very rea*onable.

Seb has also helped some clients with Private Medical Insurance. They wanted to have something in place so they could get fast and high-quality medical treatment if they need it due to the current NHS crisis. This is a new area we are looking to help clients with at Mewstone.

Mike Jones Mortgages has saved one of his clients over £80,000 in saved tax this week! The client was going to sell his investment property which provides him of income into retirement but instead has released equity from his home without any tax implications. This means that he's able to maintain ownership of both of his properties whilst raising a tax-free lump sum to enjoy his retirement with.

Charlie Green - Mortgages has helped a client to secure a purchase of a new build - which is a real success as she managed to find a lender who was able to use their most recent year self employed income to boost their affordability 😍. The lender is more niche but the rate is not THAT much higher than high street banks! She has also helped an existing client to buy a new home - working through all the figures with them to ensure that the proceeds of their sale cover the moving costs 💷 and she has a*o helped also an older client to secure a new mortgage on their forever home 🏡 using some of their retirement income to support the affordability.

Nathan Reeves - Mortgages has been helping a client to purchase a new rental property 🏡 using a limited company with x3 directors 👷🏻👷🏻‍♀️👷🏻‍♂️ - By using the limited company rather than purchasing in their sole names they are able to keep the property separate from their own estates and use the property for a new business venture when it starts bringing in revenue to start expanding their portfolio 🏘.

He has also been helping a client going through a divorce 💔 raising enough capital to buy out her ex partner 📈 and take over the mortgage in her sole name meaning that she does not have to move house and the kids can stay put 👩‍👧‍👧.
