This post is completely out of my comfort zone, but I feel as a daughter and as part of the Queen and Constitution Pub I need to stand up and eradicate the nonsense that has been broadcasted, not only on Plymouth Live, but also on the evening news.

My Dad Chris Jefferis, also known as ‘Crunchie’ has worked hard all of his life for his family, always striving to do his best.

He became a landlord 12 years ago, this was completely out of our comfort zone, but as a family we've worked so hard with a great team behind us to deliver an establishment where people from all walks of life can come, have a pint, a chat, a sing along and a bloody good night/day out.

Recently my dad has undergone a refurb on the outside of the pub and with works ongoing on the inside of the pub… I'm genuinely upset and completely gutted that one terrible incident that was dealt with efficiently and effectively could lead to so many lies and utter bu****it.

Dan Clark of Plymouth Live you should be ashamed, as your so called reporting “15 man brawl” led to a snippet in the evening news. Now if you were a true reporter you would have found out the facts & the facts are certainly far from a “15 man brawl”. These lies can destroy reputations and livelihoods.

For all of you that know us as a family, we do not condone any violence, never mind a 15 man brawl.

Our doors will be open as normal from 11am tomorrow to all of our lovely locals, old and new.

After winning the Devon Cup a few weeks ago, the boys will be going all out to secure the League Cup & do the double this season.

This will be the 6th time we play Elburton this season, 3 times in the league & once in each cup. There really hasn’t been anything to choose between the teams in the head to head games so far -

Draw - 3
