'Popping down the Thistle this weekend' has been the mantra of thousands of rock fans since he 70's such is it's reputation for staging live music with a blemish fee reputation as one of Plymouth's oldest and most established music pubs and is as popular today as ever. The pub also boasts a pool table and first class Juke Box with a Thai restaurant above so whether you want a decent pint, check out a local band or enjoy a good quality meal, you only have to 'pop down the Thistle'.
