Tonight’s restaurant visit……………. The Odd Wheel Wembury

We can’t tell you how overdue this visit was after seeing all the amazing pictures and reviews online 😍

Firstly we just want to say it was the BEST meal we’ve ever had in a PUB!!!! I had to personally message owner Jack half way though my meal saying how incredible it was.

What did we order? Thai Red Curry, Halloumi Fries, Peri Peri Burger, Cheesy Garlic Bread.

The Halloumi Fries were the best we’ve had. I thought we had the best ones at NH but maybe not 🤔

Thai Red Curry was FRESH. Could just tell everything was made from scratch, rare for most places. Nice kick to it and the portions were huge.

Cheesy Garlic Bread, not sure what cheese was used but again was one of the best we’ve had.

Peri Peri Burger. Linz demolished it 🍔

Atmosphere is cosy and although a 30 min drive we’re so glad we visited ❤️

If you fancy something different, head out to Wembury and give them a try. It gets busy so BOOK IN ADVANCE.

Sunday morning shout out to The Gourmet Greek 🇬🇷

Randomly walking the dogs in Central Park and we hear ‘Nacho Heaven’ 😂 I do still think the power of social media is crazy.

Had the BEST Greek wrap ive ever had. The owner knew his stuff aswell. Explained how everything was made fresh and had lots of knowledge on Greek cuisine.

Pop down Central Park, they are there all day ❤️

Tonight’s restaurant visit…… Olive & Twist City Centre

After a long week working on our new venue The Funky Panda ‘Posh Kebab & Cocktail Bar’ we decided to take a night off and head to our new neighbors venue.

The decor has to be up there with the best in Plymouth. It’s just one big vibe ✌️Honestly is done to such a high standard we’re actually nervous to OPEN our new venue next door 😂

Jokes aside we had an amazing evening here. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and were always checking up on us asking if everything was ok.

Lindsey had some great cocktails which looked and tasted amazing 🍸🍹 as Bens detoxing he had a 0% beer but sooooo wanted a glass of wine (maybe next time).

Onto the food. Our daughter had a Steak Burger with Cheese. She eat the whole thing including the seasoned Potatoes on the side. She said it was one of the best burgers she’s had.

Lindsey had Nachos (everywhere we go 🙈) and I had a Pulled Pork, Steak and Brie Burger. The thing was huge 🍔 juicy, flavourful and I really enjoyed it.

Honestly give this place a try. The street is up and coming and will be such a vibe once more bars and restaurants open there (inc our new one).
