One of our last summer shows at Exeter University and our last one before we rebrand to PlymStages but more of that soon.

Bit of a windy day today and lots of events have been cancelled due to high winds. However the Royal Navy is never daunted by a gentle gale and moved the cricket screens to make it a little less blowy for the musicians. devonport

Facebook has informed us that approximately 11 years ago we did our first show with our newly acquired Stageline mobile stage. The event was for BBC Children in Need and happened at the Eden Project in . When we first saw the SL50 we knew it was a fantastic bit of design and engineering totally built to last. Every time we build it we get people coming up to us amazed that the relatively small trailer 'transforms' into a full size stage especially when we are using the extension decks. We pass on our thanks to all our customers and all the technicians that have worked with us over the years.

A fantastic day with the Stageline SL50 at Duloe Ale and Cider Festival. Great weather fantastic bands and some mighty fine ale and cider. Duloe is the home of Cornishorchards so a good showing from them. We did the full production for this event with our Mackie HDA line array. For the first time we used our new line array weather covers which keep the worst of the rain off ( and provides some shade too). Thanks to all the Duloe Ale and Cider Festival team who put this community event together so brilliantly.

Stoke village funday 2022 here in Plymouth. Had to leave a 1M gap on one side for Pedestrians and 6M fire corridor on the other as well as not blocking any resident's gates Our is just right for tight urban situations. Great turnout for this event and really handy for the pub! Actually, this bit of the town has about 6 pubs in 100m of road so wherever we put the stage would be convenient.

Here's the news you have all been waiting for, it's back.. but not quite as we know it. PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY.
Due to the pandemic things are going to have to be a bit different this year and as such we are going to have a max number of people who can attend the festival. For this reason tickets will have to be purchased in advance. Details are still being finalised and the link for ticket purchasing will be posted on 7th August 2022.
No tickets will be sold before this date, no tickets can be reserved so please do not ask.

A weekend venture to Showground near Falmouth in Cornwall for the Cornwall Balloon Festival. Wind was a bit strong for the Balloons until right at the end of the weekend. We were working for our friend's at Clockwork Audio Systems who provided lighting and sound courtesy of the KV2 system. They also booked the tribute acts and they have a Tribute Act Festival in Plymouth coming up in August.

Armed Forces Day 2022 on Plymouth Hoe.

We had to wait until the Merlin landed before we could build the stage due to the downdraft. our stage was the Plymouth Youth Music Services stage and we had some fantastic young musicians entertaining the crowds.

Event technical was by our friends at JHAV who did a fantastic job over the entire site which included 2 performance stages and two arenas.

Despite the strong wind and unpredictable downpours it was a fantastic day

The evening is just about to get underway here in Torpoint. At 10.45 there will be fireworks in front of the historic Devonport Dockyard.

Setting up for the celebration day in Torpoint, Cornwall. First time we have had all our extension decks on a job to create a 28ft x 20ft (note the use of imperial measures just for fun) stage deck. The event runs all day Friday and there will be fireworks on the river.

After 24 hours of walking the team had raised nearly £20,000 well done to all who took part.

Tonight we have our outdoor cinema setup in Torpoint. The Greatest Showman tonight. 6 metre x 3 metre screen. And a 7000 lumen projector.

Life's a beach, set up on Blackpool Sands near Salcombe for a private beach party. Not often the stage gets pulled by 3 different vehicles in one day.

So 4 days ago we got a a phone call asking us if we could do a community event. As their supplier had been forced to isolate with Covid. So Stage, sound and lights booked and prepped in short order including a full strip down and renew of the trailer brakes. Got on site this morning at 08.30 and was informed that the Generator company had to isolate as well! So one of the team drove back to Plymouth to pick up one of our silenced Gensets and gas and we had our selves a show. It looked like the whole town turned out to see the bands. Great show and home by 2am.

Bit of a last minute job due to Covid cancellations by regular suppliers. We stepped forward to supply stage, sound, lights and power for Bovey Tracey Picnic in the Park. All starts at 4pm. Until 10pm.

Great news if you are getting married in the South West as our SL50 Mobile stage makes the perfect outdoor wedding platform. With a bright and airy feel it can be easily 'dressed' with drapes, fairy lights and flowers. The opaque roof shades you from the sun but lets the light in and the wind walls can be removed for optimum viewing from all angles.

We can get our stage into most locations due to it's light weight and compact form.

Outdoor civil weddings and partnerships get the go ahead Non-religious weddings in England and Wales have had to take place indoors until now.

Real shame this event is not going ahead this year but with uncertainty over what restrictions might be in place we understand the decision.

After much consideration we have decided to postpone this year’s festival, yet again. There are still too many uncertainties around events to enable us to plan effectively, unfortunately. We hope to see all your lovely faces in 2022 though! 😄💪🏻

Duloe Ale and Cider Festival

Missing this year's Duloe Ale and Cider Festival vibe. Roll on next year!

Well the sun is shining, as it always does on Beer Fest day and we’re so sorry we can’t all be in a field together enjoying some great ales, ciders and music. Thank you so much to all our supporters over the last 14 years, you’re amazing! You’ve enabled us to build a skatepark, equip and maintain the Pavillion and raise a whopping £43k for charities. We raise a glass to you and hope to see you all next year. 🍻🥂

First event of the year is on Sunday so thought we would get the Stageline SL50 out and give it a clean and paint. As the weather was nice we got a few of the extension decks out as well. We bought 6, 8ft x 4 ft extensions with legs and handrails last year but with COVID-19 happening they have just been stuck in the container. With the 'Wraparound' extension we can make a 28ft wide by 20 ft deep stage with a covered area of 20ft x 16ft. The other photos are of a forestage extension giving a 20ft wide by 24ft deep stage. We figure this is ideal where you want a mixed format event with a dance troupe performing on the fore stage while you are doing a band changeover on the up stage section. Great product Stageline .

Without financial support the live event industry will be harmed significantly with skilled people leaving the professions and no 'new blood' joining. We want to work but we are not allowed to.

Do you want to run a drive-in cinema? We can provide our stage with an LED walls for daytime showings or a traditional projection screen and projector for night time viewing. We have a 6Metre x 3Metre as seen here or we can supply a wider 7.5 screen for 2.35:1 ratio.

The LED Wall can be 6metres wide and is rigged to provide a minimum of 2.4m depth of stage in front should you want to do annoncements of maybe have a DJ performance in front of the screen.

We can provide quiet and clean power with our LPG generators and we have various sound options available.
