Good morning from Admiral’s View on a lovely September day.
I have been playing with the spotting telescope, a poor attempt at getting a clear photo of the image, but it’s pretty. The Edgcumbe Arms.

New super comfy furniture has arrived at Admiral’s View.

We see all types of sea vessels pass by from Admiral’s View - this time there’s a submarine

No blue skies today at Admiral’s View, but still bright and beautiful.

We had so much fun at Adventure Segway driving/riding around Mt Edgcumbe park with spectacular views of Plymouth and Cawsand bay. Only a 10 minute Cremyll ferry ride to Mt Edgcumbe, then 10 minute walk to Adventure Segway. A highly recommend visit if you are in Royal William Yard 😊

Admiral’s View is on the top floor of The Clarence building, overlooking the Tamar, with views over the water to Mt Edgcumbe in Cornwall (which is a short boat ride away on the Cremyll ferry).

The Clarence was the warehousing store in this former Royal Navy victualling yard.

It’s a beautiful January day today at Admiral’s View, so calm and bright

We’ve loved hosting our recent guests and we are now looking forward to spending some time ourselves at Admiral’s View, it’s a great place to work from (the WiFi is awesome and it’s so peaceful).
We will be making further improvements over the next few weeks to make this lovely apartment even more comfortable and contemporary 🙂

There's something very special about the windows in Royal William Yard, a former Victualling yard for the Royal Navy.
Designed by Sir John Rennie in 1825, the yard provisioned vast amounts for the Navy - Brewhouse, Mills Bakery, the Cooperage and Slaughterhouse buildings tell their history and function in their names.
The Clarence building where we are based was a store, and the remnants of some of the original hooks and winches can be seen in our apartment.
Our windows and balcony all overlook Mt Edgcumbe and The Edgcumbe Arms in Cornwall which is very close and a few minutes away on the little ferry.
