So very sad to hear the news that our good friend and renowned wine expert Stephen Barrett has passed away.
Stephen’s restaurant in Ebrington Street was one of our first haunts when we moved to Plymouth and we’ve remained good friends and business associates ever since.
We were just chatting with him last week and planning some forthcoming events.
Desperately sad, our city has lost a true gentleman 😞

Bunnahabhain Stiùireadair: With a smattering of sea spray and dried fruit lingering on your lips, this sherried malt whisky will transport you to Bunnahabhain Bay with its brackish, coastal tinge.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Amber Gold

Nose: Dried fruit and creamy caramel with hints of brine, vanilla, nuts, and a touch of spice.

Palate: Creamy mouth feel with a dried fruit influence, sea salt, creamy caramel, hints of nuts, and gentle spice.

Finish: Long and lingering with hints of dried fruit.

Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old: This 12 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky was the beginning of their Bunnahabhain core range, launched to fanfare and praise alike.
