GIBRALTAR CAMPAIGN LOOK BACK
A proud look back campaign memory from 11 years ago, when I was honoured to meet the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo to talk about the George Cross campaign for the City of Gibraltar.
It is STILL a worthy cause for the loyalty & heroism of the people of Gibraltar to
receive the George Cross for its special military links & service to the British Crown over the last 320 years.

A YEAR OF THE PLYMOUTH ROCKHOPPAS
13 years ago, the Plymouth Rockhoppas made headlines when they arrived in Plymouth on HMS Woof and now live on Drake's Island by Royal Command.

The Rockhoppas was first seen in the Herald as a comic strip for nearly 2 years, and the book 'Adventures of Larry the Pirate' is still on sale at the Islands website:

GENTLE SHOUT OUT, GIVE MORE SPACE FOR APPROACHING FERRIES IN THE SOUND PORT bosses in Plymouth are calling on swimmers, paddle-boarders, leisure yachts, and small boat owners to be aware that UK ports are not 'free public access', but form part of a statuary harbour area.
GENTLE SHOUT OUT, GIVE MORE SPACE FOR APPROACHING FERRIES IN THE SOUND
You have to marvel at the sheer professionalism of the Captain and crews of the MV Pont-Aven and MV Armorique says team Westward Shipping News.
A gentle reminder by the (KHM) Plymouth Rob Giles to other users of the Sound 'to keep well clear of the approaching ferries - they don’t have much wriggle room!'
The name Armorique comes from the ancient name for the coastal north-western region of France meaning 'the country which faces the sea.'
