We are now open for 24/25 enrolments!

You will currently be receiving our leaflet through the door to let you know that all of our classes are open for enrolment/application. Whether it is a qualification or a leisure course that interests you, take a look via our website www.cornwall.gov.uk/adultlearning and click on ‘Browse our courses’ to help you to learn, enjoy and succeed! You can also call us on 0300 1231 117.

If you need any assistance to help you access our courses online, please drop us a private message, along with your preferred contact method and location in Cornwall, a member of our friendly team will then be in touch.

In support of Cornwall Council’s drive towards Carbon Neutral Cornwall, we will no longer be producing a brochure, but instead are looking to concentrate on improving our online enrolment processes – we hope you will back us with this change.

Sorry if we confused you - we accidentally put up the wrong post!

All of our regular activities ARE continuing over the summer months, with the exception of Tuesday Awenek sessions which are terms time only.
Please also note that Lego Club has MOVED. It is now running on Thursday Mornings 10-12 during the school summer holidays.

Please note that there will also be various other Summer Reading Challenge activities running over the holidays, so our days may be a little noisier than usual.

22/07/2024

Please note that we are having work done on our main entrance door tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday. To enter the library you will need to use the doors at the rear of the building, through the outside area.

Thank you Saltash Town Council Library Hub

If you are not used to using the Cornwall Libraries catalogue to access your account, or browse, reserve and renew books, not to worry, here are six easy steps in to becoming on Online Library mastermind 🤯🏆🤓 ...
📒 Firstly, visit https://prism.librarymanagementcloud.co.uk/cornwall/ and enter your library card number in the box marked membership number. Then click login.
📕 This screen shows which books you have on loan – you can renew books from here if you wish by clicking on renew.📗 To search for a book click in the box that says enter a keyword… and type in some basic information about the book. You do not have to put in the whole title. If you are searching for 'A Tale of Two Cities' by Charles Dickens – then just typing 'cities dickens' should find it. If this produces lots of results then just add another word to refine the results.
📘 A list of results should be displayed. The information next to each cover tells you a little bit more about this edition. It might say, for instance, paperback, hardback, Large Print or CD audiobook. Find the edition that you prefer and click on check availability
📙 Near the picture of the book cover you will see a box which says Reserve. Check that the library branch you wish to collect from is in the Collect From box and, if correct, click on Reserve. If the branch is incorrect (i.e. it says ‘Bodmin Library’, but you wish to collect from ‘Saltash Library’ then use the drop-down list to select the correct branch).
📔 After clicking Reserve you should see a screen which says Reservation Placed – congratulations, you have successfully reserved a book! If you wish to reserve another book then use the enter a keyword search box and start again.
You will receive either a telephone message or an email to inform you it is ready to collect.
