This installation is coming to a close this room looks classy and it hides a nice 5.1 system and the shelf’s are illuminated with recessed led. The whole home is operated by control4, They have 8 zones of multi room audio, 4 Zones of video distribution, full control4 lighting, integrated heating, automatic shades and velux windows it really has it all. We even hand built the clients custom media wall !!

These radiators really compliment the period features of a grade 2 listed building, we had the task to find an electric radiator that wouldn’t look out of place and these really did the job ! I love the polished chrome flex cover it really finishes it off. Only another 50 to install.

Another install completed, this front room has control4 lighting creating some super chilled lighting scenes and then the star of the show the Naim mu-so, this is bay far the best all in one speaker that’s on the market the quality is immense, we have it linked to the TV using ARC so it becomes a sound bar and results are outstanding if your looking for a high end speaker this is the one !!!

I’m just sat In the garden listening to the Sonos Roam and for small speaker the sound quality is pretty good. I love that I can switch to Bluetooth when I’m out of range from my WiFi then I can slot it back in to become an independent audio zone, for the money it’s pretty impressive. This little fella has been on many camping trips and never fails to provide the entertainment. If your in the market for a small speaker I would definitely recommend it.

Had a great day today revisiting a house we did last year carrying out some control 4 programming changes. The client wanted to add some lamps that we never accounted for so we installed some Lutron Ra2 and integrated into their existing control 4 system. Lutron pairs really well with C4 and is great for adding lighting loads that were an after thought. We even added a zone ready for their Christmas lights.

This is just the beginning of this project, we had a tighter budget here so we have installed some Lutron Ra2 controlling multiple lighting zones and automated shades. The record deck has been connected to a Sonos port so the client can play his collection across the whole house. We recently upgraded all of the external audio system at The GAIA Spa the old system wasn’t loud enough so we installed some 100v speakers from episode and a Sonos port to bring it into the hotel system. Due to the commercial restrictions from Spotify we installed some Ambie audio streamers and utilised the line input on port now the hotel can group the audio zones and control the volumes independently. If you have never been to the spa you should definitely give it a go, now you can enjoy your favourite drink on a sun lounger listening to some relaxing music, perfect for a summers day.

The client loved it so much we built one in his master bedroom, perfect for those cozy winter nights.

This media wall turned out stunning, simple yet effective. We worked with the client to design the concept then our team brought it all together. For the audio we went with a Sonos 5.1 arrangement with the arc sound bar, 2 Sonos ones for the rears and the Sonos sub, sounds great for a wireless solution.

It was great to have at the showroom this afternoon hopefully they enjoyed the experience and they now have a better understanding of what control 4 and home cinema is all about.

The 77” lg is now up and on the Control4 system. Just waiting on the custom sound bar to go below.

We’ve started a great new Control4 project this week, this is just a preview of the bedroom media wall which is going to have a hidden art lift that hides the TV. We are going to integrate this in to control 4 allowing the client to operate it through his Neeo remote and voice commands to reveal his TV and sound bar.

This project is coming to an end and it looks mind blowing !! This is an entrance to be proud of. All the lighting is automated using Control4 which creates beautiful lighting scenes which really comes to life at night.

Nice to be working on the Barbican this morning, a nice early start to get this point to point network link installed, the kiosk tills we’re really slow so we cabled a small network to speed things up !!

Sonos roaming

It’s nice to see the plant room complete on this project all those cables contained and looking tidy, it’s a satisfying job when you get to this stage and it all starts coming together.

We are just adding the finishing touches to this smart home, 3 Neeo remotes going in to control the TVs across the ground and first floor. I love using these remotes to control our showroom system if you want to try one you can book a visit to our showroom. @ Plymouth

We returned to an ongoing project today to commission the CCTV. The rack was custom built into this bar so everyone can see the equipment in all its glory, It has 8 zones distributed audio, 6 zones of distributed video, control 4 centralised lighting with 48 loads, CCTV, automated shades, integrated heating controls and a 5.1.2 Dolby atmos setup in the living room. The house is incredible we will upload some photos very soon.

We just completed a small system today with the cameras and gate controls integrated with Control4, the client wanted to control the gates from her other property and view her camera system all from one app. She can tap the button on the touch screen or app to open the gates for 30s, 1hr, 3hrs and 6hrs from wherever she is in the Uk. Control 4 can be used in many ways to achieve some amazing control it’s not always about the AV.
