Persistence is Key
Cawfee is the brainchild of Paul Braidwood and Matt Carter who had a chance encounter through a mutual acquaintance at the Old morgue.
They immediately saw a need for a local community cafe that served the unique and diverse population of union street.
Initial plans were to create a greasy spoon, but the pair quickly developed aspirations to serve the best breakfast in Plymouth.
Matt says that the English breakfast has been done badly for such a long time and he feels an obligation to make it the best it can be. This is an ongoing quest to create the perfect breakfast and it continues to evolve so that every time you come it will be better than the time before, whether you are a meat eater, vegetarian or vegan.
