This lovely client was inspired by another item in her wardrobe and asked if I could transform this button up shirt into an off the shoulder asymmetric blouse.

For those who don’t know, I had a fun Friday evening in A&E after burning my hand when my electric steamer sparked and caught fire while I was using it.

Don’t worry I’m alright now but I’ve been told to rest up for a few days and I’ll be bandaged up for the next couple of weeks.

Naturally, this means I’ll be a little slower than usual when it comes to sewing for a little while.

Unless I’ve messaged you already, I’ll honour all my current appointments I have in the diary - but I won’t be taking on any new customers until July.

This is to allow me to catch up and recuperate.

Just a little festive update, I’ll be closing up shop for Christmas from 15th December until 3rd January to have some much needed rest and time off over the festive season.

Had lots of fun projects and outfits to work on this year but absolutely loved this one.

Completely altered this oversized Vivienne Westwood vintage men’s suit and refitted it for Francesca.

Reshaping this for a woman’s body was such a fun tailoring challenge - thanks for trusting me to work on this!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Already amended some beautiful party frocks and Christmas outfits like this one!

According to Facebook Memories it’s 2 years ago today since I joined a local team of seamstresses and made the first of many sets of scrubs for NHS workers during the first lockdown.

At the time I was on furlough and just wanted to do something to help our key workers. Little did I know how much this would reinvigorate my passion for sewing.
