Well here’s how daft I’ve become ( ladies going through menopause will feel my pain) . I’ve been in a total melt down for 24 hrs, headache the works!!
I found an entry in my Diary for the 28th of August and all it said was Laura food 3pm. I can’t for the life of me remember what it is. I checked all my communication methods, messenger, call log etc checked my paper diary, nothing. Spoke to my daughter and said “ it’s a Wednesday at 3pm” “ it’s got to be a funeral “ ! Daughter suggested I put a shout out on here asking for Laura to contact me, I refuse saying I’ll look like an incompetent idiot! On the other hand what if it is a funeral and everyone is there and no food !!! 😭
24 hrs later discussing it again the penny drops, it’s a health and well being appointment lol the lady I’m seeing is Laura and it’s about food lol and it’s at 3pm !! What an absolute plonker lol

Update on the sister, lots of you know her and have been asking. She’s had 2 strokes!! She’s fine and is being discharged this afternoon. Lifestyle change for her !!! X x

Well today’s been overwhelming for a few reasons. My sister got admitted to hospital, my shop closed 😔 and I’ve had several bookings for my buffets. The future is looking bright!

Just a little heads up, I know it’s only May but December can get extremely busy, I’d advise booking early to avoid disappointment. ❤️

All delivered, excuse the little condensation, they have been in fridges keeping nice and cool. Now for a cold one and feet up lol ❤️

Important announcement

As a lot of you are aware my landlord put the shop up for sale last year and I have been looking for new premises in or around Hemsworth. In January I received a letter that I had till the end of August and then I had to vacate.

I have made a really tough decision and decided to close the shop BUT I am now going to concentrate on the catering side of the business. The buffets have always been my baby and the afternoon teas etc. I’m extremely proud of what we have achieved, because without you none of it would have been possible. I am going to continue to provide this service from a new location with a few little extras, cheesecakes, cakes etc which will be available for delivery.

Our last day of trading at the shop will be Sunday the 12th of May.

I’d like to thank each and every one of you who have supported me over the last 6 years and made my little business what it is, it truly meant a lot to me.

As you can imagine everything is up in the air at the moment but I’m going to keep my page and will keep you all updated on this new journey. This is a new chapter, I remember how terrified I was 6 years ago at the start of this. New doors are opening, the big girl pants are back on 🤣 and off into the unknown again

My diary remains open for any special events you may have coming up and as always, I only provide the best and freshest food at a reasonable price.

The shop will remain open as usual until we close at the end of Sundays service on the 12th May at 1pm.
