Due to a lack of interest, BU Scuba is currently not an active SUBU club.

If you are a student at BU and would like to learn to dive or you are a qualified diver and want to go on local dives and trips, please contact Dive South. They will be able to help you with anything you require.

The dive season is getting underway! Contact us if you would like to get in the water! We have spaces on RAID OW20 Courses throughout May and June, along with Drysuit, Nitrox, Advanced and Rescue in the pipeline too!

Happy International Day of Happiness, these little guys always look like they are smiling, can’t blame him/her my happy place is underwater too 🙂

We are very lucky to have Saeed Rashid from Bournemouth University coming to talk to us this month, he is a great speaker and talented underwater photographer. If you missed him at this years Dive Shows, you won't want to miss this one, I know you will all really enjoy his talk and I am sure there are a few of you keen to find out a few tips and ask him lots of questions!

Two BU Students, Samantha and AJ are getting on tremendously well with their RAID Open Water 20 Course. Looking forward to seeing them in open water at the end of the month! Let us know if you would like to do your first diving qualification! :)

Hello Everybody!

We are getting ready to kick off this year and we have some exciting things to share!

We are now affiliated with one of the best dive centres in the area, Dive South. Celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, Dive South have an excellent quality of teaching and the team is amazing and very good friends of ours!

We will be offering courses from beginner all the way to instructor level and possibly even some more advanced courses!

This year we will be offering several membership options, we have three levels of membership this year which will soon be available for purchase on the SUBU website.

We also have a few open seats available on the committee, if you are interested in becoming part of the team please get in touch!
