Apex windows are definitely on the rise in Dorset. Whilst they create a beautiful large widow with greats views they can be tricky to provide window treatments for.

This morning we fitted these curtains in our lovely clients new bedroom. We were worried about losing the view or the light but somehow the window looked bigger when we had finished. A great result.

Directly opposite the sink, a door with some steps leads down into a high-walled courtyard garden on two levels. The dining/kitchen area opens out into a mezzanine/lounge, designed by @arior_design, featuring a wood-burner, green velvet sofa and grey armchair with matching footstools from @loafhome, with pink and dark green DLM side tables from @haydesign and a Gräshoppa black floor lamp from @gubiofficial. The wonderful thing about living in Dorset is making soft furnishings in some beautiful places. This gorgeous cottage right at the bottom of Corfe Castle was such a pleasure to visit!

Lots of little window seats and cosy rooms. We’ve used fabrics from Ada & Ina plus lots of Romo Linara fabrics.

Last year we had the pleasure of making 18 pairs of white curtains and sheers, all in a very simple Wave heading, for this gorgeous house at Sandbanks.

The curtains were all blackout lined, very big and heavy. All in Romo fabrics. We also supplied and fitted Silent Gliss Wave tracks and draw rods.

These are a couple of the photos so you can see simple curtains can be beautiful and that sometimes the view out of the window is more important!

It’s been quite a long time since I added any of our work onto Facebook. It was such a busy time until March when everything stopped!!
