Today our House Captains met Jackie from Coop Funeral Care in Broadstone and were gifted reflector badges and arm bands, these have been handed out for all children in school. Thank you so much!

Year 4 had an incredible morning at Wagamama in Bournemouth. We prepared and drank fruit smoothies, then made chicken katsu from scratch. Once the chicken was fried we all sat down to a delicious lunch. Not only that, but all the learners are coming home tonight with a Wagamamas goody bag and a £15 voucher. A huge thank you to all the staff at Bournemouth Wagamamas, and to our volunteer helpers. We will definitely be returning to taste more of the delicious food on offer!

This week our Reception children had a wonderful mindfulness session including Yoga in our new Hidden Gem. We cannot wait for other year groups to have this opportunity too 🌿

🙌 A HUGE thank you to everyone in Year 3 at Broadstone First School who ran a soup stall earlier in the year and raised a fantastic £122.21!

Elaine from Routes to Roots was delighted to go along to talk to the year 3 children about the work that Routes to Roots do and how the money they have raised will help the homeless.

Theses vital funds will be used to supply breakfasts and lunches to those rough sleeping in Poole.

We hope all of the children and staff have a lovely summer holidays and a well-deserved break! 😊
