At Ready2Shine, we offer a wide variety of programmes specially designed for adults living with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism. We have something for everyone, from educational courses to social opportunities, with participation available either face-to-face at our office or via Zoom in a secure meeting room. For more information, please visit www.ready2shine.co.uk. Education: Sexual Acts - What services there are and how you can access them? Contraceptive methods are covered as well as STI info. The mechanics of the act and masturbation including accessing pornography and sex aids. Mental Wellbeing - As we talk through the creation of a wellness plan we look into our emotions and mental health. How we recognise and support Mental Health, when it's not doing well, and how we maintain it when it is. Boundaries - What are the different boundaries we have with different people surrounding us? How do those relationships look different and how do we act within them? Relationships - What do we want from a relationship? Staying safe in relationships. What do capacity and consent mean in relationships? Staying safe with others, closing on what different relationships look like. Online Safety - Looking at how to stay safe online, what to look out for and how to report if something is not right. Menstruation & Menopause - Looking into the ways we manage menstruation and what is "normal", highlighting the different products available for management. The Basics - Looking into the parts of the body, how they are the same and different to others. What we need to do to look after our health needs, including exercise and nutrition. Social: Open2Shine LGBTQ+ - Monthly drop-in service to discuss topics around sexuality and gender identity in a safe, judgement-free environment. Sunday Socials - Fortnightly weekend meet-ups where participants can have fun and spend time with their peers. Zoom Nights - Fortnightly activity sessions hosted online, including quizzes, bin

At Ready2Shine, we champion Pride, not prejudice. In support of this cause, we offer a monthly Open2Shine LGBT+ support service, half-hour online sessions that provide participants with a safe, judgement free-space to privately talk about their sexual orientation and gender identity. Our Tesco Community Grants funding ends today. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to wish Tesco and Community at Fratton Park our deepest gratitude for providing us with the opportunity to continue our Set2Shine Social Education scheme, and for helping to enrich the lives of our amazing participants. Since receiving the Community Grants funds, we have been able to host more Wellbeing Walk, Online Safety and Open2Shine LGBT+ sessions.
