We will never get bored of the view we have from the hive

It Is spectacular

A couple more boring hurdles were thrown out way…

However the hurdles were jumped successfully ✅✅

The build carries on…

All walls that were planned to come down are now down opening the space up to its full potential

Work on reinforcing and revamping the roof or the hive has started so will have plenty more updates for you all soon

Next stages are to bring down all the walls with the red dots on fully opening up the inside and bringing it out to the exterior roof line

Roof will be undergoing some pretty big repair, reinforcement and refurbishment due to it being un maintained for so many years

We Will hopefully be able to share an official opening date soon once we are over the last couple hurdles

Each of our booths will have its own name instead of numbers

Please comment your suggestions on what you think one of the booths should be called, we will choose our favourite and name the booth after it

Today the builders move in to start the transformation of this iconic building into an amazing cafe with on site bakery.

We will be using social media to document the progress as it happens - and of course be open to ideas and suggestions from yourselves into how we will look and what we will serve 😀

The building used to be the guard house for the former MOD property which was demolished. It now leaks, is run down and looks very sorry for itself.

In a few months - the transformation will be complete!!

The Journey begins now - please get involved and follow the progress!

Just thought we would pop on and say plans are in place for beginning of next year....if you still wanted our pasties and products of course!

After the southwick shops building works - and the saga that still continues to this day, we tried to establish ourselves at a different location.

We aimed to wholesale and distribute which put us In a whole new category in regards to the food hygiene ratings

We held a 5 star rating as you all know, but to comply with the new EU regulations that were introduced - and maintain our excellent rating we would have to undergo micro biology testing annually, EU approval numbers for every single recipe, the red tape and bureaucracy would cost us aprox £10k ... per annum!

On exactly the same products we have been making and selling for years under the UK's food rating at 5* 😞

Because we didn't have an outlet - and didn't see the end consumer .. the expense of the EU regulations meant we could no longer trade.

However.....

Plans are now in place and being finalised for a new outlet.. a new start.. New flavours and old making a comeback for early part of 2019.

So... spread the word.. the best pasties in the world are coming back!

60 different assortment of pasties delivered and distributed to various departments at The QA hospital today in Portsmouth. :-)

Just taken a phone call on the back of the chilli and cheese festival asking if we could stock a very busy and very well known outlet in...................cornwall!

Apparently ours are ' superior 'to the local made Cornish ones they currently stock! 😂😂😂

Of course I said yes as Hampshire pasties being sold out of Cornwall is probably my best achievement so far lol.

Basingstoke chilli and cheese festival tomorrow!

Day one was a huge success..all night baking tonight for day two as pretty much sold out! Good to see familiar faces today! Great feedback and lots of exciting opportunities to explore.

If you fancy a day out- I thoroughly recommend It!

We will be selling pasties as of this weekend... we now have 30 varieties with the old recipes still there but some amazing new weird and wonderful ones as well!

As well as our outlets ( yes there are several and not just one - exciting times!) You will also be able to have our goods delivered straight to your door... nationwide!
