This week the gang at Handforth brought a bit of sunshine to the day creating these beautiful flowers. They're so talented and really enjoy getting stuck in to what is quite complex craft. They all help each other and have a laugh along the way. 🥰🥰🥰

Another fantastic tradition with our Handforth group on the Macclesfield canal. We were blessed with the weather and our visitors had a ball. Thank you to the crew of Mary Sunley 2 for making it another special day.

A lot of hot air in Knutsford today, we were reminiscing. Hot air balloons quiz , word searches, crafts, and photos from staff who have been up in one, wonderful memories shared.

We were so lucky today in Handforth. First of all we had 2 junior volunteers join us to help out and then this afternoon we had a blast with Lloyd ventriloquist which was a h00t!! 😂 🤩🤣🥰🤩

National lion day is in August along with Leo the lion birth sign. We had jokes,quiz arts & crafts along with word search and colouring in the jungle pictures 👌

Due to some of our group being on holiday we were small in numbers but it didn't stop us having a fun filled day .
Summer wordsearches,August quizzes and a game of snakes and ladders always goes down well.
The sun was shining so we took the opportunity to go outside and look at all the pretty flowers .played some more games and enjoyed an ice lolly

Dancing & singing along with out volunteer music man Ken. Then listening to one of our clients play jazz. Jane hasn't used a keyboard before as she's a retired pianist, she's taken it home to practice ready for next week! That's dedication, thank you. Another good day.

Busy last day
Olympics were the topic this morning .Colouring a quiz and we made our own gold medals.
This afternoon we were entertained by the lovely Julia.Who had us reminiscing abut our wedding day.
We had another birthday to celebrate and I offered the group ice lollies or birthday cake to finish the day .Cake won and everyone had a great time. 🎂🍾🥂

Wishing all our fabulous staff an enjoyable and restful 2 weeks off. To our wonderful visitors enjoy your time off and we look forward to welcoming you all back on 12th August. Xx

So much happening at Calvary today. We went all American doing a 4th July I Spy game ,an American quiz and painted the stars and stripes flag on paper plates.
With Wimbledon starting this week we did a Wimbledon quiz whilst eating yummy strawberries and cream and played one of our favourites balloon tennis .
We also celebrated our lovely Assistant Emma's special birthday with flowers ,cards and Connie the caterpillar cake.One of our group also gave her his bingo prize ..what a gentleman .
Oh and we had lots of laughter along the way
