UCLAN’s 2024 MVP Award Winner!
Vic Greer was awarded the Most Valuable Player trophy which is awarded to the individual whose sports performance has been key to a Team’s success in the current academic year. This was Vic’s final season as part of the 1st team before graduating and working full time. Over her 3 years she has been part of the team who gained back to back promotions in her 1st/2nd year and was part of the team that once again pushed for promotion this year but just falling short at the final hurdle. Vic will still be around next year supporting the girls next season💙🩵

Varsity 2024!!!
Our varsity squad for the 2024 match is a strong squad of 10 players who will set out to defend their previous wins against local rivals edge hill. For some of our girls this is their last game for UCLAN and for others it is their first varsity. To anyone who can’t make the game physically we are hoping to live stream the fixture.
Go smash it girls and bring back the trophy💙🩵

Yesterday our firsts had a friendly against LANCon in preparation for their cup game this week. Lots of combinations tried and everyone gave 100% till the end of the game. Some great passages of play from both sides and was a great game to watch. Good luck to LANCon with the rest of your upcoming games🩵💙

Our firsts got their first win of the season this afternoon against Uni of Manchester with a final score of 41-38.
It’s the first game in a new league after being promoted and the girls were pushed to the final whistle. The flow of the game changed throughout with the score difference being no more than 5. There were times during the game that we lost our momentum but the girls pushed through until the final whistle and managed to maintain the lead and take the win💙

Massive thank you to for hosting todays pre-season friendly!
A good match up between the two teams with 6 lots of 10 minute games allowing us to try plenty of combos in the run up to the season starting. A chance for our returning players to get a run out before our trials take place in a couple of weeks.

Elite Netball Academy has proved to have played a huge part in many netballers success through pathways, from club level through to international call ups. We can’t wait to see what this year holds for our girls under new leadership and opportunities with Elite.
