Finishing up some endgrain wood & resin coasters with more on the way! Sanded up through 12 progressively higher grit papers over many, many hours, now just awaiting a final polish and wax.

This one happens to be over 20 years old, relegated to the workshop as the handle needs structural tape support. One day I see it giving up, leaving me wet and disappointed, but what is life without risk?

Big thanks to Quest CNC for routing out an end-grain coaster mould-mould!! Water resistant MDF perfectly cut which I then varnished and filled will silicone mould making goo.

Part of the background process involved in creating my products brought into view.

Been busy working on a new wall mounting method for my hooks & hangers.

No visible screws when installed and a simple push-click on to two wall mounted buttons makes for a tidy setup!

Recent commission of a set of stained birch plywood and purple mica-resin infilled coasters & placemats, still shiny from the recently applied danish oil finish!

These have come out really well, the wood shimmers as you move it in the light with the purple infills jumping out.

These garment hooks/necklace hangers/key hangers are starting to glow a bit after a bit of sanding!

Keeping busy tinkering and crafting with some oak & walnut resin projects!

Got a couple of garment hooks/necklace holders with resin stripes and a couple of custom horse mementos in progress.

A considerable hoard of pigments in a multitude of colours at my disposal! Should be enough to suffice for any project demands.

Hiding among them are various mica, glitter, glow in the dark, fluorescent and pastel types plus liquid dyes.

Walnut necklace on waxed cotton with green & black resin slice infills. Cordage runs through chamfered brass tube.

An "in progress" look at some of the coasters I make. Takes about a week to layer various colours of low viscosity epoxy resin and allow enough cure time to be able to sand them to a beautiful finish.
