Last week I had the honour of making 100 of these beautiful sugar cookies in iggle piggle blue for our friends who sadly lost their little boy Malachy. 💔
It was truly a beautiful service to honour Moo, the most colourful boy and brightest star in the sky.

Lankybox cake made for Scarlett this year. This is the third year in a row I've made Scarlett's cakes, and I always look forward to being given the theme!

Chocolate sponges with handmade shark toppers. I love making sharks, but the most tedious part is always the teeny tiny teeth 🤣

We are a family that LOVES peanut butter anything! ❤️🥜

Ann wanted a cake to share with her husband and friends when they get home from lunch in Lytham today!
She asked for a victoria sponge with buttercream and some pink included somewhere.
She absolutely loved the cake when she saw it with the flowers and butterflies as well! 🦋💕🌸

So after being away from here for a while due to being very poorly and apart from making some valentine cupcakes this is the first cake order I've made in a while.

I have avoided saying anything for a few days, but I am unfortunately having to close for the time being. Any orders I have booked in for future months I will be going ahead with don't worry. However, I won't be doing any Christmas goodies this year.
I have not been well for a short while now. I've been to the doctors this week, and I am currently off work awaiting test results, etc. And I've been told to rest for now. Hopefully I'll be back to work soon.
I hope everyone can understand. It really saddens me to do this because as people know baking is my happy place but atm I don't feel happy.
My health and the mental wellbeing of myself and my son must come first.

Mental health issues are something that I struggle with daily and have done for a number of years.
I have had a mental health crisis before now. Believed I wasn't worthy of being here, fully convinced myself I didn't want to be here, I completely lost myself.
Baking helps me. Baking pulls me through the darkest of times. It is like my own way of coping. My own little therapy bubble. ✨️ 🧁
Ask yourself what's yours?
I'm not a huge talker about my own mental health, but I recognise I should open up more. A problem shared is a problem halved after all.
Take a moment today to ask someone how they are doing and pay someone a compliment.
Let's take a moment to prioritize our mental well-being and spread awareness about the importance of mental health.
Remember, it's okay to ask for help no matter what you're going through, and seeking help is a sign of strength. 💪
So take that break, practice self-care, and reach out to loved ones.
Together, we can create a supportive and understanding community.

Let's break the stigma and make mental health a priority every day! 💚

52 stamped cookies I made for a recent wedding. The bride and grooms story really got to me, so I asked the bride if I'd be able to donate wedding cookies to contribute to their special day. And it looks like they had a fab wedding from the photos I've seen. 🥰
Also, thank you to my besties, Laura and Danny for dropping them off to the bride on my behalf. ❤️
The wedding colours were white, pink with grey.
So I went with white and pink gradient icing with edible silver shimmer spray to finish off the look.
