🛳️This week we were lucky enough to go on a cruise ship visit with Ambassador. They are a relatively young company (just 3 years old), and at the moment have just two ships. We visited Ambition, which holds 1200 passengers and primary cruises around the British Isles and upto the Norwegian Fjords. Their larger ship will visit the Caribbean in 2025.

✈️ These ships are ideal for passengers who don't want to fly, and they have a number of regional embarkation points, including Liverpool, Newcastle and Falmouth.

🍸The visit allowed us to see all aspects of the ship - bars, restaurants, theatre, extensive spa facilities, the pool/sun deck, and of course the different cabin types. The ship underwent a full refurbishment when it was bought by Ambassador, so everything is very fresh and new.

🛌 We were particularly impressed by the suites, great overall size, good bathroom size and lovely balcony area. There are actually more suites on the ship than balcony cabins, and often the deals mean there is very little price difference!

🧖‍♀️ The spa was huge, with lots of treatment rooms, large gym area and steam room and Finnish sauna as well as lovely relaxation room.

🥘Dining is across a number of restaurants, either buffet or more formal style. The Buckingham Restaurant also houses their Chef's Table, which at £89pp for 10 courses including wine, we thought offered excellent value. There are also a number of speciality restaurants where you can pay a small supplement to eat there.

🥩Lunch was served in the Holyrood Restaurant and included samples from both the Mediterranean and Indian speciality and were excellent.

💸Overall, it certainly lived upto it's billing of Premium Value.
