It’ll span over 7 days with the idea of beginning opening a week before Christmas. You’ll get 6x20g speckled mini skeins on your choice of yarn base & 100g self striping yarn on the same base to open on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

The packages won’t be numbered so if you wanted to open them on different days that’s absolutely possible 🎄

Book 6 will be Little Women - I think the cover is so summery & I’m so excited to create a colourway inspired by the book cover. Do you love the story of Little Women?

Platinum Jubilee coming to the shop this Thursday 19th May at 7pm GMT. Limited to 10x100g sets - first come first serve.

It’ll be dyed on Wednesday 25th May & posted on Monday 30th May.

Slow & steady progress on this one ☝️

I’m using DPNs for the first time in a long time & I have to say I’m loving the rhythm of them! No hand cramping, stitch shuffling or cord shifting!
•
I’m knitting a fairly vanilla sock using my own recipe of 56 stitches, 2.5mm needles - 2x2 rib & for the leg I do a row of k2, yo on the colour change from purple to gold then just knit every stitch thereafter until the next colour change.

You may notice my backdrop is slightly different 😅 I’m in Gran Canaria this week with my lovely Mum for a little holiday.. if you wondered I even got my metal DPNs through security & onto the plane for a bit of in flight knitting 🧶

I haven’t knit socks in a little while because I’ve had a lot of trouble with my thumbs & pain in my hands.

Can’t resist the temptation to try again though, this time with DPNs. I’m going to cast on 56 stitches on 2.5mm needles. I miss knitting socks so much, they’re such a mindless portable project perfect for sunny afternoon breaks in the garden!
