WytchCrafted
WytchCrafted, now concentrating on crocheted items that can be personalised to your requirements.
WytchCrafted formerly Wytchcrafty Designs, is named because everything that I sell is hand crafted by myself or friends. I graduated in July 2012 with a BA (Hons) in 3D Design from the University of Central Lancashire.
New pattern book! Same author as the mythical creatures
Latest make, birthday present for a friend's granddaughter.
Spent today just chilling to give my brain a break! Although I did put another row of the baby blanket together for my niece in America who is due in 10 weeks.
Busy finishing a wild swimmer, and then organising my old computer desk which has been used as a bit of a dumping ground since son 'borrowed' various bits from my desktop computer, then my chair!
I start a Digital Marketing online course on Monday and last time I did one, I had the laptop on my lap on the sofa, which was fine until the cats decided to lie on me and walk over me and say hello.
A full set detailing a ladybirds journey from Egg to full ladybird. Opinions will be appreciated as well as pricing suggestions.
Busy working on the next lot of commissions for my friend Lisa. Butterflies and Ladybirds plus all their little bits and bobs
Just joined the group The Witches Market UK there's some amazing stuff on there.
Having recently done the migration from Working Tax Credit to Universal Credit, I am currently on a week long start up business course via zoom provided by Kick Off in Business. So far I have met a lot of lovely people and the tutor is great. Even though I've done business and enterprise qualifications before technology and trends have changed a lot over the last decade! Hopefully I will start posting more with ideas for consideration. I still prefer to provide bespoke customisation items but I have some ideas in mind for stock products and possibly an online store via MadeMe.
Perhaps it's the colours I used or the legs/wings (ignoring the leftover strands of yarn but I'm not sure about this dragon. Plus the pattern calls for using watercolour paints to add definition to the finished dragon
Main part of the 2nd mini dragon pattern is finished. It's 69 rounds long using a 0.5mm hook. I love the shape compared to the other and this is stabilized with wire so can be formed into different shapes.
Practice micro dragon crochet just finished. Magnifying lenses were needed but I think I've not done too badly
Latest make.
Danielle's Dragon
When your cat decides you are only going to cuddle him instead of crocheting!
As 'Barry' has made it to his new home finally poor thing was held in customs at the weekend. I can now post the photos I took when he was finished.
The majority of him was made by going from photos and previous pattern knowledge, the legs were modified from the pattern book Crocheted Cats.
One Dinosaur complete, one to go for Christmas presents for a friend's nephews.
Everything packed up and ready for tomorrow's Crafternoon Tea Event. Details below. I've got Halloween keyrings and earrings, crocheted key rings, bag charms and gemstone earrings too. Will also be taking orders for crocheted items secured with a small deposit and contact details.
Come along if you can we also have cream teas and cakes.
Birthday present for my friend Lisa Wilkinson, sorry it's late.
Finished the first Flower Baby from Amugurumi Flower Babies by Bad Den Braver www.facebook.com/zabbez/
Start of latest project, a flower baby from Amugurumi Flower Babies, just need to decide which flower it will be.
Happy to announce I will be having a table selling my hand crafted jewellery and keyrings at the below mentioned event, 15th October 2022, 10am - 4pm at the United Reformed Church, Hollinshead Road, Chorley.
Out of all of my recent makes, this little peacock (definitely male) has given me the most trouble in creating it. There has been five attempts to get satisfying tail feathers and this is the second body. Is it any wonder I called these my quirky creature keyrings collection. Even if you order the same animal or bird I can guarantee it will be unique.
Latest make from A Crochet World of Creepy Creatures and Cryptids by Rikki Gustafson
Birthday present for one of my best friends, Danielle.
Micro Cockatoo from Mini Amigurumi Birds but on a 1.75mm hook and Drops Flora yarn. Was going to be the kittens toy but he'd probably swallow it whole.
Just a few extra tail feathers required, and this Goffin Cockatoo replica will be flying over to the Netherlands to meet its owner
Merlyn likes his new bird. Of course adding catnip to the stuffing might also have something to do with it.
I need to do a larger bird for a friend so this was an experiment with Aran yarn and 4.5/5mm hook even with extra rounds it's still only 8" in height and I need to make it 12". I've already ordered some Chunky yarn to experiment with.
I do so much prefer working with a 4ply or DK yarn.
Current commission in progress, four lovely lady wild swimmers, 2 down 2 to go, pattern based off Edwards Crochet Doll Emporium by Kerry Lord .
Scheepjes and Drops cotton yarn from Wool Warehouse.
Completed commission for a friend.
