New Arrow potatoes being planted in Cornwall for us in early season 2023.

We are hiring.
T Dobson and Sons is a family run business which sources fresh produce locally and worldwide and sells to a variety of customers from supermarkets to green grocers. We operate a warehouse and an office in Fulwood, Preston and with almost 100 years in business, we are continually looking at trying to create new paths to secure its continued success.

A role has become available to support the buying and transport department with their day to day administrative duties. Main responsibilities will include:

Managing of documents for the import / export of products to and from the EU, Northern Ireland and rest of the world.
Managing of all ferry paperwork
Answering telephone calls (Customer Facing)
Filing of import and export documents
Assisting Admin department when required
Confirming/booking in on our bespoke ordering system of all fresh produce consignments daily
Chasing supplier discrepancies/missing paperwork

The Successful candidate must be:
Computer Literate
Have good Communication Skills
A team player
Be able to work well under pressure
Have good time management skills and able to complete daily tasks within deadline times.

Knowledge of fresh produce an advantage – But not essential as full training will be given.

Salary: £10.00 - £11.00 per hour
Contracted hours will be 07:00 AM To 15:00 PM Monday to Friday – Some Saturday’s would be required as part of the company rota system.
