We are very pleased to announce that we will be opening our first international shop in June 2022.

The new location is in the German city of Gerbrunn ☺️ and just needs a little more work before it is ready to open.

We are still on the lookout for a new premises in Preston for the retail element of the business. If anyone has something available please DM us.

We have been inundated with messages as to when we are looking to reopen.

We had planned to reopen at the beginning of May, however, we are pleased to announce the following open times for this bank holiday weekend.

Friday 15/04/2022 8pm until midnight
Sat 16/04/2022 3pm until midnight
Sunday 17/04/2022 3pm until midnight

We are also pleased to announce that the prices for our gelato remain unchanged 😊

We are very pleased to announce we won the much coveted 3 star Great Taste award for 2021. So now we can officially say our gelato has won the top prize at the biggest international food and drinks awards.

The Great Taste Awards are largest and most trusted food & drinks awards in the world.

House of Gelato is proud to announce that we are now an awarding winning Gelataria receiving the much coveted 3 star award from

It is my understanding that House of Gelato is the first 3 star winner of the award in the Preston & North West for Gelato.

We would like to thank all our customers for their continued custom/support along with the hard work put in by our staff, family and friends.

Judges comments:

"This is a very clever idea indeed and it has been extremely well executed. The individual flavours are pronounced yet combine together sublimely. The texture is both creamy from the gelato and gently fudgy from the chocolate. We like the tangy pieces of apricot too. The flavour is long lasting. "

"The most indulgent, rich, flavoursome gelato. The hazelnut flavour is concentrated and pure, whilst the chocolate is rich and fruity. It's perfect."

"An indulgent, rich, ice cream with exceptionally high quality chocolate. What the judges enjoyed most was the apricot preserve which cut through the chocolate and provided a constant relief from the richness. An exquisite product."

"You don't need to have very much of this for it to feel really indulgent. The three components work really well together. Very much like a deconstructed Sachertorte. Incredible."

"This has a gentle nutty appearance and the aroma of hazelnuts promises much. The addition of good soft but not over sweet chocolate gives an extra dimension to this gelato, and a depth of flavour which is light and yet gives the full flavour of the hazelnut. On this day in 1983 purple rain was first recorded and to honor the musical talent of Prince tomorrow we will be selling our own Purple rain sorbet.

Refreshing all natural citrus fruit drinks. Each drink has its own unique flavour which comes from these unique citric fruits that grown in the Calabria region of Italy.
