Giving up sugar! Have you ever tried?

I did in February this year and after a couple of months it’s slowly crept back in🍦🍹) So I’ve started to cut it out again this week.
It’s really hard (because I love cake🍰) and it’s also really hard to find ready made snacks (other than nuts🥜)for the whole family. That do not include sugar and that are not highly processed either.

Often the healthier options are the more expensive 💷 products, which I find extremely frustrating. 😩
The best ready made non sugary snack with minimal added ingredients I’ve managed to find so far is salted popcorn🍿

😀Any other suggestions/ideas for kids packed lunches will be gratefully received 🙏

So felt like time for a name change and I’ve gone for something pretty simple (for now). As an over thinker, that was a challenge. But, it’s all in preparation for positive changes in my business.

I have been slowly decreasing my mobile hours as I’m super excited to be doing up a room at home which will eventually become my space to massage from. Having a room to work from means I can offer different treatments and also open appointments up for those clients who prefer to go to come to me than be massaged at home.

Theres a lot to be done, so I’m really hoping that it will be ready by the end of this year. 🤞🏻

Sorry if this offends any cricket fans, but for me watching cricket is really boring! And a sport I only ever played at primary school

So when I went along to the Thanet Girls Cricket Academy with my daughter yesterday. I wasn’t expecting to like it.

But… I surprised myself and really enjoyed it!

It was a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere. You didn’t need to be fit to play or know what you were doing.

If you’re after a social sports club that is relatively low exercise, then I highly recommend you come along and give it a try.

The first session is free and is on Wednesdays 5:30-7pm at St Lawrence College.

I often come across both clients and friends who suffer with Plantar Fasciitis and think it’s something they have to put up with. Nice to do something out of my ordinary at the weekend!
I was lucky enough to be in Telford at the Pickleball UK Open, supporting one of the English players. With daily pre and post event maintenance massages to aid recovery and to help keep her at the top of her game.

Competing in both the womens doubles and the mixed some fantastic and really tough games were played. Unfortunately just missed out on a medal in the mixed, but came a way with a bronze in the women’s.

I was also lucky enough to watch lots of amazing talent across such a big age range, nice to be part of a sport that is open to all ages and abilities. An opportunity and experience to be part of, I loved every minute and look forward to supporting more players in the future.

Today I was lucky enough to take part in self care day at Sunshine Preschool Margate.

What a lovely manager the staff have to treat them all to a well being day. Some of them having never been massaged before today. It was nice to be part of helping the staff feel relaxed after a busy academic year.
Such a lovely start to my week too ☺️
