The tea room has been closed for the past couple of days and will reopen on Tuesday 26th. As you can see from the photograph, it was for a very special occasion! Mrs M is now Mrs E π₯°
Today in the tea room, we had a new delivery of our popular Dad's Army greeting cards and fridge magnets by the very talented Steve Lilly.
Who was your favourite Dad's Army character?
A few weeks ago at the tea room we welcomed Ken from Virginia.
Ken was staying in Ramsgate with relatives and he told Mrs M about a WW2 combat helmet that was being used as a bird bath and how he had completely restored it.
Without hesitation Mrs M went into the shed and produced 2 such helmets that had definitely seen better days. Ken returned to Virginia with them and has worked his magic! Here you can see the transformation of one of the helmets which will eventually be on display in the tearoom.
Thanks Ken, it's brilliant π ππ«π¬π§πΊπ²
