Sustainable shopping with the design and construction of a new Superstore and cafe for Thames Hospice

We have recently completed a refurbishment project to create Thames Hospices first ever Superstore. The new Superstore in Richfield Avenue offers an extensive range of quality pre-loved and upcycled furniture and homeware, a creative hub, recycling and repairing a vast range of items, fashion for all the family – including an alteration service, vintage clothing and accessories, together with a children’s zone and cafe. The charity offers services such as upcycle old furniture and tailor vintage clothing as part of the drive toward the circular economy in Reading from their new home on Richfield Avenue.

The stores doors are now officially open so please take a visit.

The M + B Team have been appointed with the refurbishment project of Garth Hill Gymnasium. The works involve replacing sports floor, renewing rendering, fitting specialist UFH system, decorating and associated building works. 🪚🧱

We’re excited to share that as a company we donated 7 sensory tickets to Circus Starr! 🌈✨

These tickets, along with a few sensory bags, helped the children enjoy the magic of the circus in a way that’s tailored to their needs. We believe every child deserves a chance to experience joy and wonder, and we’re proud to contribute to this incredible cause! 🎪❤️

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒!

Today marks a day for a reminder that there is always someone around to talk to and offer support.

At Morris + Blunt Mental Health plays a massive part in our Company and we work as a Community of help to provide support to uplift others as well as our own well-being.

We have just completed the refurbishments at LVS Ascot, these were undertaken during the School's Summer Holiday period. The project consisted of refurbishments to both Senior and Junior Schools.

Over both projects, we have refurbished the existing classrooms, along with meeting rooms, boardroom and Governors office. After removing existing fixtures and fittings, new flooring, ceilings, and internal doors were installed throughout, along with a complete re-decoration. Upgrades to electrics and air conditioning were also undertaken. Bespoke furniture was made and fitted to accomodate new media stations in three rooms along with a new trophy display cabinet.

We would like to thank LVS Ascot, Christopher James Architecture and all our suppliers for their help on this project. Also a massive thank you to our M+B Team.

Day 3 complete ✔️🚵‍♂️

The team has successfully finished the Brittany Cycle Challenge! Over these 3 incredible days, they’ve cycled a total of 561 miles. Day 3 brought the fun with a fancy dress theme, all to raise money for their three selected charities!

A new project has now commenced at Seaford Court for Wokingham Borough Council. The works involve the complete refurbishment of the two storey detached building internal spaces including the creation of ten ensures to the existing bedrooms.
Works are anticipated to complete March 2025!

Today is the day where our M+B Team travel to Brittany to start their Cycle Challenge!

On 25-28th September Stephen Blunt, Mark Mancey and Andrew Goodchild look forward to cycling (as part of Challenge Adventures Charity Brittany Challenge) 561 miles around Brittany, raising money for Daisy's Dream, Cancer Research UK + the British Heart Foundation.

At Morris + Blunt, we believe in the importance of education and physical activity. By supporting Maiden Erlegh’s talented students, we're helping them build confidence, teamwork, and a strong sense of school spirit—both on and off the field! 🎒💪

We’re proud to give back to our community and can’t wait to see the students thrive in their new gear!

We are pleased to have achieved Practical Completion of the construction of 3 new Eton Fives Courts at Holyport College and look forward to the official opening and unveiling in October 2024 where guests will have the opportunity to 'have a go' and take part in competitive games.
