Reading University Rugby League
We are a welcoming sporting society who understand that most newcomers will have never played the sport before but that’s okay, we accept all skill levels.
*WELCOMING ALL FRESHERS*
And returners and everything in between to the start of the new season, we will be having two taster training sessions - 6-8pm on the paddock on campus on Tuesday the 29th of September and 6th October . These will be fun skill based sessions, all abilities and years are welcome. Furthermore we will be following the RFL and uni guidelines on safety regarding coronavirus.
Thank you, we look forward to seeing you there.
The boys.
Congratulations to everyone that received their results today. Hope they were everything you expected but even if not I’m sure given a chance the boys can cheer you up come October.
We know everyone is eagerly awaiting the time we can get back to stroking Rhys.
In the meantime we just want to remind everyone to be a mate and check in with people as this isolation might be resulting in their low mental health. Furthermore RURL boys feel free to message the Welfare reps if you need to.
A huge congratulations to our very own Cap Rat Sam Jones on making the England Rugby League Squad 🏴🏉 He’s beaten the odds by being just 1/2 of the Southerners to make the squad and put us on the Rugby League map 📍 Well done Sam, all the hard work has paid off 🥳
Great fun rewatching England University RL Origin game. Congratulations to RURL’s own; Josh Bull, Sam Jones and Ben Tatton who all put in a massive showing in both the North and South teams.
Reminder lads that there is another taster session at 6 tonight. Under the floodlights by the university Gym.
Come down and meet the Rugby League lads at refreshers fayre from 11-3!
