We were asked to create an outdoor living space for relaxing and entertaining that would link seamlessly with a new rear extension and complement the new interior style.

It was important to quickly re-establish privacy from neighbours and a nearby road as well as integrating a large mirror, outdoor kitchen and water feature into the design.

Our maintenance team have done a wonderful job here. We had a very happy client.

has a wide range of multi-stem trees in stock. Multi-stems are perfect for those of us who don’t want to wait. For the same girth as a single stem tree, a multi-stem provides instant architectural structure and shade by having a broader foliage canopy. Essentially, more bang for your buck!

Speak to us about the best lighting options for your multistem to enjoy it day and night.

Well done to Ryan and Dan who ran the Reading Half Marathon on Sunday to raise money for a wonderful charity, CCAA Kids with Arthritis. The sun was shining and there was a great turn out to support them.

2. Magnolia (many varieties available)
3. Prunus 'Accolade' (Cherry)

We are looking for an Independent Trustee Director to join us in realising the full potential of employee ownership. Interested? Read on below.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- You will have past experience and knowledge of employee-owned organisations.
- You have good understanding of company governance and management accounts.
- You can engage constructively to further develop the role of the trust and the wider business.
- You are an excellent communicator.
- You share our values of quality and service.

COMMITMENT

Based just outside of Reading, Berkshire, we value face to face relationships and are ideally looking for someone local or who would be able to travel to our location for quarterly meetings. Initially, any commitment would be for approx. two hours for these in person meetings and to respond to ad hoc requests from other trustees outside of these meetings.

ABOUT US

Creative Landscape was established in 1989 by childhood friends Glenn and Mark. Since those early days our emphasis has always been to provide every client with a professional and bespoke service. We pride ourselves on being with you every step of the way, from the original design concept, to hand selecting plants from our nursery through to after care in the form of garden maintenance.

Our clients very often become clients for life and we are proud of the relationships we maintain. Gardens are constantly evolving; people move house so we can work on multiple properties for the same client.

We are unique in that we have our own specialist plant nursery on-site.

Creative Landscape Co. became an employee owned business in March 2021.

As we continue to embrace our employee ownership, we are now looking for an independent trustee director to bring external, independent advice, guidance and leadership to the EOT and help us develop the board of trustees into a meaningful and impactful part of our business.

HOW TO APPLY

Thirty five years of designing and building inspirational, award winning gardens! A huge thank you to all our wonderful clients over the years, our hard working teams and a special thank you to The Big Plant Nursery

The planting team did a great job yesterday clearing the “jungle” that had formed around this beautiful Koi pond. Our planting designer chose Skimmia japonica ‘Rubella’, Nandina domestica ‘Obsesdion’, Cornus alba ‘Miracle’ and Stipa arundinacea to create lush but orderly planting.

If Storm Isha has damaged your fence panels overnight then you’ll probably keen to replace them asap but before you rush out and order more wooden fencing, consider a hedge instead as a longterm solution. Our mature hedging is an instant and cost effective way to add border and privacy to your garden.

Hedging plants absorb and soften strong winds with their layered branching structure and leaves. An established hedge is durable against the elements. The added bonus is being wildlife friendly proving food & shelter.

We suggest:

- Beech (pictured)
- Thuja occidentalis ‘Smaragd’ (pictured)
- Prunus laurocerasus
- Prunus lusitanica ‘Angustifolia’
- Leylandii

Visit for instant hedging solutions.

If you'd rather wait for the warmer weather to enjoy your garden then our award winning maintenance team can provide a one off, professional garden tidy to prepare your garden for the colder months ahead. Essentially, to put your garden “to bed” for the winter.

Our winter prep work usually involves:

- Cutting back herbaceous growth in beds and borders
- Winter lawn treatments for strengthening before the adverse weather
- Weeding beds and borders
- Protecting plants that require it
- Adding mulch to beds
- Tree pruning
- Leaf clearance

We also offer a regular maintenance service. We design a specific program for each client depending on their requirements. Regular tasks such as general border maintenance, hedge cutting, and lawn care can all be included.

Please call us on Tel: 01189 341500 to book or email [email protected]

Prepare to adjust your perspective on what makes the perfect winter garden. In recent years there has been a big shift in winter garden design. A reimagination of a wilder winter where wildlife, birds especially, are taken into account. There’s certainly nothing dull about the garden at this time of year, there are so many shapes to draw the eye; cones, spheres, spires and frosty plumage!
