Jack and the Beanstalk. First rehearsal ✅Well done everybody. It was so lovely to see you all 🎭
Our Drama Discovery Experience makes it easy for your shy child to try a new class.
It's a 2-step process and the first step is just to come along and watch for 20 minutes - with a parent - to see what's going on. Meet the teacher, see the space and watch what our students are doing. Only then, when they like what they see, is your child invited to come and try a class - for free - for themselves.
It makes the whole process so much easier for children who struggle with stepping into a new class for the first time without a parent.
All children are welcome, ages 5-16, but please note, the part of the class you are invited to watch is our Junior class from 6.50pm - 7.10pm.
We are running the Drama Discovery Experiences in each of our weekly drama classes. Book your child's place now - just 10 places available at each class:
Mondays at The Willink (Burghfield Common)

Tuesdays at Walter Infants (Wokingham)

Well done to Seb who won the Blue top at our Lower Earley drama class this year! Out of all the students across the age groups, Seb earned the most points in our student award scheme.
The students earn points for getting involved and taking part in all of our activities like shows and diplomas, but also for correct uniform and the most points are earned by stretching themselves in class and supporting fellow students.
Congratulations Seb! 🤩🎭

Final Auditons for StageAbility's Jack and the Beanstalk today! Break a Leg to everyone who is coming!
Now that the sun has decided to come out again, it reminded me to share some of the photos from StageAbility's fantabulous summer drama camps! What a brilliant week the children had; making friends, creating a production and impressing friends and family!
If you would like your child to get involved next year, save the date! We shall be running from Monday 28th July to Saturday 2nd August...exciting! Save the date!
This is what we mean when we say, “Make it big!”
And not forgetting StageAbility's Teen Summer Project, run the same week as our summer drama camps, but for actors aged 12-18.
This year was a comedy - The Day the Internet Died - but it was also thought-provoking - a clever mix. What WOULD we do if the Internet died???
Here are some of the photos from the students' show.
If your Teen would like to get involved next year, save the date! We shall be running from Monday 28th July to Saturday 2nd August...exciting!
At the beginning of the autumn term, we see a lot of new faces at our weekly StageAbility classes. I believe it's important for families to hear what our students think of our classes...not just me! Here's Emma 🎭❤

Parents! Do you have a 5 or 6 year old?
Would you like to give them the skills to speak up in class, get involved at school and make the most of opportunities that are made available to them?
It might surprise you to know that StageAbility drama classes are proven to help. Drama class is not about putting on plays (we do that in our youth theatre!)
Our weekly classes are all about building a child's confidence through carefully planned and crafted games and activities. The students love coming every week and the parents - and schools -tell me that our classes make a real difference.

If your child is an enrolled student at StageAbility, our new term will start from 9th September...and we can't wait!
If your child attends an after-school club run for a primary school, term dates are set by your school office, so some clubs start later than others. Just check your booking confirmation for term dates 🎭🎭
We're really looking forward to getting back to working with your children!
WHO WILL IT BE THIS YEAR??
You may have wondered why a few of the children wear a red or blue top to class, instead of the uniform black or yellow.
These children are the annual winners of StageAbility's Student Award Scheme! Each week the children are awarded points for correct uniform, being particularly kind or showing great teamwork skills, stepping out of their comfort zone in performance or leadership, and taking part in things like our shows and diploma awards.
The points get added up at the end of the year and the winners of the class are awarded a light blue polo with the year of their achievement on. If they are awarded a RED top, they have earned the most points in the WHOLE SCHOOL!
So, I wonder who it will be this year? It won't be long until we find out. StageAbility's new term for Community Classes starts the week of the 9th September!

Parents! Are you looking for a fun after-school activity to energise your child and bring out the best of them?
StageAbility's drama classes ARE NOT about putting on plays (we do that in our youth theatre, not our weekly drama classes).
Classes are high-energy, challenging and fun; full of like-minded, creative kids who develop so many skills from taking part in these carefully planned and structured drama games and activities.
Here's what Claire had to say:
"My daughter Elsie has been coming to Stageability for 18 months and during that time her confidence and self-belief have both skyrocketed! Elsie absolutely loves coming to the classes and spends all evening after she has been excitedly retelling what she had done that day. The teachers are fabulous - kind, approachable, encouraging and understanding. Thank you all so much!"
Your child is welcome to try a class - free of charge - in September to see what StageAbility is all about, with no obligation.
Just visit https://stageability.class4kids.co.uk to find your nearest class.

I am a nervous mum this morning! It's GCSE results day for my youngest.
If you're off to collect your exam results today, you're bound to be nervous, too. But whatever is on that piece of paper, it's done. You can't change it! So walk in with your head held high. Remember that - if you need to - you can always change your path, so if results are better or worse than you expect, there are always options.
Good luck!
