This week we welcomed our niece Evie May into the world of Malden Window Cleaning. Yes that’s right, out of all the options she chose us for her Year 10 work experience placement!

It’s been a busy and varied week and Evie May has experienced many things that come with running a window cleaning business including logistics, staffing rotas, muck clearing, paper shredding, daily bookings, answering enquiries, customer service, buying supplies, customer quotes and of course……..window cleaning!

Not your normal pond life!

It’s Earth Day and here at Malden Window Cleaning we are aware that water is precious! All of the water we use is bore water which is rain water that has naturally seeped into the ground and is stored in a space until it’s extracted. We then filter it until it’s almost 100% pure and ready to use on your windows.

We are half way through National Pet Month!

We are dog lovers here at Malden Window Cleaning and over the years all of our dogs have come to work with us. Sometimes along for the ride in the van, sometimes chilling out in the office with us and other times out on the job itself! Some customers are disappointed when we don’t take the dogs and specifically request them so they can enjoy seeing them play in the garden!

We’ve also discovered many hidden spots around Berkshire which are perfect for dog walking breaks throughout the day too.

We love working in this part of the world with our pets and are grateful to be able to have them with us while we work! 🐾

This International Women’s Day we celebrate the ladies on our team; Victoria & Brittany!

Victoria cleaned windows for 16 years and now supports Kevin in managing the business, taking on the role of customer service, daily logistics and on onsite team support.

Brittany is our admin queen managing payments, invoices, business statistics and much more!

Both are mums to 2 boys. Victoria loves to bake when she’s not at work and Brittany is a keen reader.

Whilst it may not be conventional for women to work in the window cleaning industry, we know there’s nothing these ladies can’t do! 💪🏻

When the little ones haven’t returned to nursery yet…..

Window cleaning is such a personal service. We spend our days working in and around your homes. It’s no wonder that over time we get to know you and even form some firm friendships.

8 years ago we said goodbye to Mary as she left Berkshire and we cleaned her windows for the last time. We have been in touch ever since often texting or chatting on the phone but occasionally we also go and visit.

Today we had a lovely Sunday afternoon catching up, eating and chatting.

It’s always such a pleasure spending with this lovely lady!
